After five years of marriage, Lily Allen and David Harbour have reportedly called it quits.

The Smile hitmaker, 39, married the Stranger Things star, 49, in 2020, and Lily shares daughters Ethel, 12, and Marnie, 11, with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper.

After quashing rumours that they had gone their separate ways earlier this year, it now appears a breakup is final, with Lily being spotted on celebrity dating app Raya.

A source unconnected to the British singer shared that they had spotted Lily on the app frequently used by major stars.

Showing a picture of her profile to DailyMail.com, they revealed that her bio says she is ‘looking for someone to start therapy with’ and indicates that she’s ‘visiting Los Angeles from New York’.

However, it’s believed that Lily is not currently seeking dates because she is not yet divorced and ‘takes marriage very seriously’.

Lily and David, whose marriage has reportedly been on the rocks in recent months, originally met on Raya.

Speaking on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2023, Lily spoke candidly about her first encounter with David, with his profile picture on the app being him in costume as Chief Jim Hopper – but Lily failed to recognise him.

‘I didn’t know who he was,’ she said. ‘I thought he was just, like, a sexy policeman from a reality TV show.’

The couple’s split follows Lily’s confession that she is ‘not in a great place mentally’ and that she’s stopped eating due to a ‘tough’ time ‘over the last few months’.

It was also previously claimed they were ‘living separate lives’ last year as Lily performed in London’s West End and David remained at home in the US.

Speaking to The Sun, a source alleged that Lily spent much of her time off ‘with mates in London or her kids’, but not with David.

Despite Lily unfollowing David on social media, he later said in an interview with People that his marriage was ‘ultimately … very good’ but admitted the Hollywood strikes had affected their relationship.

As an actor, he was ‘sitting on the couch depressed as hell’ with ‘nothing to do’.

He continued: ‘My wife likes when I go to work because it’s nice for her to have her life and me to have my life and for us not to just annoy each other by being around all the time.’

The star also spoke proudly about getting to raise their ‘great’ children and declared that ‘as [their] marriage continues, [they] grow closer and closer.’

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Lily declared that she is ‘bored of men’, speaking on her BBC podcast, Miss Me? with Miquita Oliver.

At the same time, she revealed that she and David had been going to couples therapy.

Recalling a tense moment involving her children while she was ‘going through some difficult stuff’, Lily said: ‘I exploded and screamed at the kids.

‘I was like, “I can’t handle this at the moment; I’m going through so much, I need you two to behave yourselves”.’

She then explained to the two: ‘We’re all going through some difficult stuff at the moment, so I apologise, and I’m sorry.’

While Lily has continued to speak about her personal life on their podcast, she last posted David on her Instagram page in December 2023 when the couple took a Christmas trip to India.

In September of that year, she marked their anniversary by sharing a smiley snap from their wedding day.

Lily’s caption read: ‘3 years with this guy, 2nd best decision I ever made. 1st was that dress.’

Reps for Lily Allen and David Harbour have been contacted for comment.
