The king then added, “I am so proud of all you have done with your sports and charities. Amazing, you are unbelievable. I’m proud to knight you.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_20″>David replied, “It’s been a great day,” to which the king said, “Magic. Now, you do what you’re good at.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_34″>The former soccer star responded by informing the monarch of exactly what he planned to do next, sharing, “It’s been my greatest honor, if I’m honest. Next step, I’m going to write a book.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_41″>King Charles then shared a piece of advice, telling him, “You can write a book, David. And try not to forget those names.” David assured the king he won’t, saying, “Oh, I’m sure they’ll be so happy to be mentioned in it.”</p>
