When it comes to the Beckham family drama, Lorraine Kelly has been known to weigh in.

Brooklyn Beckham’s eyebrow-raising advert proved no exception.

The ITV presenter was fronting Tuesday’s instalment of her namesake show, shortly after the oldest Becks sprog, 27, shared his World Cup advert, which appeared to reference his ongoing family drama.

In the advert for food delivery service DoorDash, the aspiring chef sits on a sofa by his lonesome and says: ‘You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home.’

He then smiles at the camera and adds, ‘It’s a long story,’ before tossing a stack of tickets to the tournament onto a coffee table, apparently referencing his rift with parents Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham.

The advert ends with the words, ‘It’s complicated. More soon,’ layered over the screen.

Discussing the ad on her ITV daytime show Lorraine, Kelly said: ‘Apparently there is more to come on that.

‘You wonder to yourself – does he really need the money to do that? I just don’t get it, I don’t understand what is going on.’

It comes after a source told Metro of the public dig: ‘Brooklyn’s advert has left his family stunned.

‘No one could have predicted he would do something like this. Monetising this situation will be heartbreaking for David and Victoria, especially after his dig at “Brand Beckham” in his statement.

‘Brooklyn has called for peace and privacy and this feels like the complete opposite by joking about their family fallout in front of the world.’

Beckham has been engaged in a long-running feud with his parents, which turned hideously public when he shared an explosive Instagram post in January, saying he has no plan to mend fences with them.

He also made various claims about his mum’s behaviour at his 2022 wedding, his parents’ control over his life and alleged his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham being ‘disrespected’.

The former photograph is understood to have been estranged from his family for a year and he has not acknowledged them on social media in months, despite his father’s major milestones, such as being knighted and receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

He is also said to have sent his parents a legal notice stating they may only contact him via lawyers.
