Actress Louise Lasser, Woody Allen’s ex-wife, has died at the age of 87.

Lasser was best known for starring in the satirical TV series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.

She also appeared in several of Woody Allen’s early films and was married to him from 1966 until 1970.

Lasser’s close friend Susan Charlotte confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she died of natural causes at her home on Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Monday.

Lasser voiced Suki Yaki in What’s Up, Tiger Lily? before going on to star alongside Allen in Take the Money and Run, Bananas and Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask).

Her breakthrough came with the title role in Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, the groundbreaking 1970s comedy which ran five nights a week in syndication and poked fun at soap operas while tackling taboo subjects including adultery, cults and serial killers.
