<p id=”par-2_93″>The hit We TV reality series returns with new episodes – and new couples – on January 16. Six people will share their story of being involved in a <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prisoner-of-love-chelsea-holmes-reveals-got-started-prison-matchmaker.html/”>relationship with an inmate</a>, in all its ups and downs. This season’s cast includes a professional sex worker in Nevada, a three-time divorcée who’s reconnected with her incarcerated high school sweetheart, and an inmate who doesn’t let being behind bars stand in the way of being a player. Plus, former cast member Monique returns with a new man and a new outlook on life. </p>

<p id=”par-3_120″>Single mom Emily works as a professional courtesan in Nevada, balancing motherhood, sex work, and a long-distance relationship with her incarcerated boyfriend, Justin. (“I’m a hooker,” she explains in the teaser.) But Justin isn’t thrilled that his girlfriend is entertaining other men, noting that it “takes a lot of work to be in love with somebody that lives the life that she lives.” And when he learns he’s been denied parole, the relationship suffers even more. Once she’s back in Pennsylvania, Emily is pulled deeper into Justin’s world, meeting with his grandmother and two of his exes, determined to come between them. Will Emily and Justin be able to overcome secrets and jealous and find a chance to be together?</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-kayleigh-and-michael”><strong>Kayleigh and Michael</strong></h2>
<p id=”par-4_72″>Three-time divorcée Kayleigh has reconnected with her former high school sweetheart Michael Even though he’s locked up, they’ve decided to make things official by tying the knot. But Michael, who is committed to managing their money, doesn’t realize that Kayleigh has maxed out multiple credit cards in both their names. With feuding moms, concerned kids, and a long-awaited homecoming on the horizon, can their families put aside their differences before Michael’s release?</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-ayesha-and-mikhael”>Ayesha and Mikhael </h2>
<p id=”par-5_73″>Ayesha didn’t expect to fall for big, burly, farmer Mikhael when she went searching for love online. He assured her his release was just around the corner, so Ayesha went all in. But they’ve never met in person, and when Ayesha and her best friend go on a road trip to see Mikhael, it leads them down a mysterious path that slowly reveals the truth about Mikhael’s family, his land, and his sentence. </p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-monique-and-titus”>Monique and Titus</h2>
<p id=”par-6_37″>A lot has changed for Monique since fans last saw her on <em>Love After Lockup. </em>Since breaking up with Derek, she’s undergone a major transformation, losing 100 pounds, relocating to Ohio, and finding a new love interest. </p>
<p id=”par-7_15″>“I swore I’d never date another inmate,” she says in the teaser. “But I lied.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_57″>However, Monique’s relationship with her new man Titus is far from easy. They’ve never met in person, but he still wants to keep tabs on Monique from behind bars. After Titus admits he’s not certain of their future together, Monique will have to decide whether to meet Titus in person and hopefully put their issues behind them.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-rich-and-felicia”>Rich and Felicia</h2>
<p id=”par-9_109″>Rich, who is from Houson, believes he’s found the woman of his dreams in Felicia. There’s just one catch: She’s in prison. For years, he had recurring dreams about a beautiful woman he loved, who happened to be incarcerated. Rich searched online and found Felicia, who looked exactly like the woman from his visions. But is she really Rich’s soulmate? Felicia has been in prison since she was 17, which means she’s never known adulthood on the outside and hasn’t been in a relationship since she was a teenager. With her release quickly approaching, will Rich and Felicia’s connection overcome their differences once they’re together outside of prison walls?</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-goddess-damond-and-bonita”>Goddess, Damond, and Bonita </h2>
<p id=”par-10_106″>Damond might be serving time, but he’s still a self-proclaimed player. He’s currently juggling two relationships. One is with his former hairstylist, Goddess. But he’s also still engaged to his baby’s mother, Bonita, who has been faithfully waiting for his release. Damond can’t choose between the two women and wants them ALL to be together. He’s even enlisted his mom to stage two separate releases to keep up the ruse. But Bonita has secrets of her own: She sold over $100,000 of Damond’s belongings while he was locked up. Will Damond end up with Bonita or Goddess? Or will he burn his bridges with both women?</p>
