An unexpected hiccup left viewers in limbo on premiere night, much to their frustration.</p>
<p id=”par-2_38″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sizzling-new-season-love-island-usa-premieres-june-2025.html/”><em>Love Island USA </em>Season 7</a> was scheduled to kick off on June 3 at 9 p.m. ET. But moments after the episode was scheduled to begin, Peacock announced on social media that there would be a slight delay. </p>
<p id=”par-3_35″>“WE GOT A TEXT! Tonight’s episode will be slightly delayed. But it is worth the wait Stay tuned! #LoveIslandUSA,” read the message from Peacock’s X account, which was also shared on the show’s <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/loveislandusa/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> story. </p>

<p id=”par-4_28″>No explanation was given for the delay. About 45 minutes later, Peacock shared another update, confirming that the premiere was “officially live” and thanking fans for their patience. </p>
<p id=”par-5_19″>While the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/love-island-usa-pleas-fans-keep-it-kind-ahead-dramatic-season-6-reunion.html/”><em>Love Island USA</em></a><em> </em>delay was short-lived, many fans were miffed. They vented their frustration on social media. </p>
<p id=”par-6_18″>“So am I calling out of work tomorrow cause y’all late? Nearly 9:30p, bedtime,” one wrote on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DKc_p3SBL-W/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-7_9″>“Hellooooo, I have no more popcorn left,” another commented. </p>
<p id=”par-8_22″>“[I’m] about to Karen my little *ss off in an email to corporate if this show don’t start NOWW,” one fan complained.</p>
<p id=”par-9_46″>While the delay was a disappointment, rest assured that the season 7 premiere is now streaming on Peacock, with another episode set to drop tomorrow, June 4. After premiere week, new episodes stream every day at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, with the exception of Wednesdays. </p>
