<p id=”par-1_11″>The ladies of New York are taking on the Sunshine State. </p>
<p id=”par-2_56″>Kelly Bensimon, Countess Luann De Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/reality-tv/ramona-singer-calls-end-the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city-blessing.html/”>Ramona Singer</a> are bringing their Big Apple energy to Palm Beach in E! new series <em>The Golden Life. </em>The show, which premieres October 20, follows the friends as they pack their bags and head down south to enjoy the good life in their golden years. </p>

<p id=”par-3_19″>“I’m coming here to Palm Beach to regain my power,” Luann says in the trailer for <em>The Golden Life. </em></p>
<p id=”par-4_30″>This quintet of former Bravo stars will enjoy plenty of boozy good times in Florida. But there’s also some unresolved issues lingering below the surface, particularly between Luann and Sonja. </p>
<p id=”par-5_88″><em>The Real Housewives of New York City </em>alums share a mutual ex in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/trump-lawyer-michael-cohen-told-rhonys-carole-radziwill-infamous-tom-dasgostino-cheating-photo.html/”>Tom D’Agostino</a>. Sonja – who says in the trailer that she is “the straw that stirs the drink” but that she doesn’t “stir the pot” – has said she had a longstanding, casual relationship with Tom before he went on to marry Luann. (<a href=”https://people.com/tv/rhony-tom-dagostino-claims-he-never-dating-sonja-morgan-or-ramona-singer/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Tom has denied</a> that he and Sonja had a “friends with benefits” relationship.) Whatever his history with Sonja, Tom and Luann’s marriage was short-lived, with the couple divorcing after just seven months. </p>
<p id=”par-6_27″>While it’s been nearly a decade since the Countess and her ex went their separate ways, when Sonja mentions the marriage, it still gets under Luann’s skin. </p>
<p id=”par-7_14″>“He was ready to marry anyone,” a seemingly intoxicated Sonja declares in the trailer. </p>
<p id=”par-8_24″>“Oh, thanks Sonja. Thank you, Sonja. That’s really lovely of you,” an obviously irritated Luann replies as she gets up to leave the table. </p>
<p id=”par-9_13″>“She loves to flirt with any man that is mine,” Luann says later.</p>

<p id=”par-10_35″>Of course, Sonja and Luann aren’t the only ones with drama in <em>The Golden Life. </em>At one point, the cast tension causes Ramona to break down in tears. Later she declares that she “hates liars.” </p>
<p id=”par-11_9″>“She’s lashing out,” she says. “There’s something wrong here.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_25″>Meanwhile, Dorinda tells someone that they “sadly live in the past” and Sonja declares that “Kelly is a suck up. She’s not a real friend.” </p>
<p id=”par-13_12″>Despite some drama, these ladies are definitely ready for their next adventure. </p>
<p id=”par-14_20″>“I am ready for a new beginning,” Kelly says. “Living your golden life means being the best version of you.”</p>
