The tennis coach, 34, raised a few eyebrows when he lifted the vows from Google which culminated in ‘I love you’ despite never having met the finance worker.
However, Arthur has said he stands by his romantic declaration which were branded as ‘cringey’ by X, formerly known as Twitter, users.
Asked if he regretted the vows, he said: ‘Maybe a little bit but then again how do you pick the words for somebody you’ve never met before?
‘I was moving houses as well at the same time so I didn’t have time to sit down and think of how I felt.
Arthur continued to the Daily Star: ‘There’s nothing I can change now, I have no regrets.’

However, Arthur’s vows did not go down well with Laura (Picture: Channel 4)
Arthur’s vows did not go down with Laura’s friends with one of them, upon learning he did not write them himself, fuming: ‘There was no effort, they were from the internet. Red flags, red flags.’
They later decided to fill Laura in and, it’s safe to say, she was livid.
Looking shell-shocked, Laura gasped: ‘What?”

She then quipped: ‘I will go and Google the rest of our relationship then and see how that works out. I am really furious, I am in shock. It is very disappointing.’
X users had previously urged Arthur not to go ahead with the vows, with one internally screaming: ‘Don’t say it Arthur. Don’t Say It.’
Another remarked: ‘Arthur saying he loves Laura in the vows was both cringe af and hilarious,’ while a third added: ‘I love you. Read the room Arthur. Poor kid.’
Will Laura and Arthur be a match made in heaven or are they already headed to splitsville?
MAFS UK continues tonight on E4 at 9pm.
