In the caption, Shriver shared her thoughts. âDiane Keaton was a true original. I grew up watching her, marveling at her,â she wrote. âI watched as she made her mark across all kinds of creative fields. She was always growing, creating, staying true to her original self. We lived in the same neighborhood, ate at the same neighborhood restaurant. She was always joyful, kind, generous in spirit. Every time I saw her, I said to myself ânow that is a true original.â She did life her way, and that is one hell of an achievement. Safe passage.â She ended her message with a red-heart emoji.
