Affleck and Damon have been best friends since childhood, and they all worked together on the 2024 film, <em>Unstoppable.</em> An insider told <a href=”https://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/matt-damon-feels-sympathy-for-j-lo-amid-ben-affleck-divorce/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>In Touch Weekly</a> that Damon “feels pretty bad” for Lopez in her divorce from Affleck. Damon allegedly feels like he’s in “a really tough spot” because of his friendship with Affleck and sympathy for Lopez. </p>
<p id=”par-3_41″>“Matt feels pretty bad for J.Lo,” the insider said. “He’s been liaising with her on the rollout of the movie, so he’s on calls with her all the time, and she has opened up to him about how much she’s hurting.”</p>
<p id=”par-4_60″>The source added that Damon has “been trying to reason with Ben to be a little bit more compassionate to the fact that she’s humiliated right now.” Damon knows Affleck has “demons” that affect him, but <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/matt-damon-supportive-ben-affleck-jennifer-lopez-divorce-drama-source-says.html/”>he still has loyalty</a> to his best friend. That said, Affleck allegedly doesn’t accept Damon’s position as the middleman between him and Lopez. </p>
