Their monochromatic outfits gave a matchy-matchy vibe, as they posed for pictures at the event. The results were perfect! The couple both opted for tailored white blazers, and while Alves paired hers with white pants and pointed-toe heels for a streamlined finish, the âDallas Buyers Clubâ actor opted for something slightly different, creating a contrast with his black trousers and shoes.

Earlier this week, their teenage son, Levi McConaughey, made headlines when he attended Paris Fashion Week. He posed for photos at the Dior Homme Menswear Spring/Summer 2026 event on June 27, and, at 16, he bears a striking resemblance to his parents.
In April 2024, the couple was joined at the 2025 Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala at ACL Live on April 24, 2025, in Austin, Texas, by their three children, Levi, Vida, and Livingston, who posed alongside their parents for a rare photo opportunity.

The couple has been together since 2006, and their relationship has withstood the test of time as they approach their 20th anniversary. McConaughey has reflected on how he first met Brazilian model Alves at a club in Los Angeles in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired in October 2020 on âThe Oprah Conversation.â
“We had a great connection. I spoke better Spanish and Portuguese that night than I have since, you know what I mean?” he said, People reports.
The pair made their red carpet debut on January 30, 2008, when Alves joined McConaughey for the premiere of his film, âFoolâs Gold.â Just seven months later, they celebrated another milestone because their first child, son Levi, was born on July 7, 2008. Their daughter, Vida, was born January 3, 2010, and McConaughey and Alvesâs last child, a son, Livingston, was born December 28, 2012.
In between the birth of their second and third child, the couple married on June 9, 2012, at their home in Austin, Texas, People reports.
