<p id=”par-1_28″>If you’re looking for someone to help you advance your career now, would you choose Blake Lively? Well according to reports, for some reason, Meghan Markle has. </p>
<p id=”par-2_44″>It’s no secret that <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/gossip-girl-blake-lively-originally-turned-down-her-famous-role-school.html/?swcfpc=1″>the <em>Gossip Girl</em> alum</a> has been getting <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/blake-lively-being-compared-jennifer-lopez-now-not-good-thing.html/”>a ton of bad press</a> for months now, but that apparently hasn’t stopped <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/meghan-markle-getting-residual-checks-suits-surprise-streaming-success.html/”>the <em>Suits </em>alum</a> from enlisting Lively’s help. It’s being claimed that Meghan is hoping Lively can “salvage” and ultimately advance her career.</p>
<p id=”par-3_20″>Here’s more on that report, and who both women are said to have bad blood with at the moment. </p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-how-meghan-and-lively-know-each-other”>How Meghan and Lively know each other</h2>
<p id=”par-4_46″>For anyone wondering how the two women even know each other, <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2024/12/12/royal-family/meghan-markle-attends-friends-pink-themed-baby-shower-with-blake-lively-crystal-kung-minkoff-and-more-celebs/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Page Six</a> reported in 2024 that they both attended Samantha Stone’s baby shower in West Hollywood, along with a handful of other celebrities, including Crystal Kung Minkoff and <em>Full House</em> actress Marla Sokoloff. </p>

<p id=”par-5_19″>Meghan was also a Time100 Summit’s keynote speaker, while Lively was honored on the 2025 Time 100 list. </p>
<p id=”par-6_58″>During an appearance on Sky News Australia, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield pointed out that the report also claims that Meghan and Prince Harry have become so friendly with Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, that they have even stayed at the actors’ residence when they visited New York because the Sussexes “like the extra security” provided there. </p>
<p id=”par-7_47″>Schofield also said that if the reports are true, it may have to do with the fact that “Blake has good contacts in the fashion world and we’re currently seeing Meghan trying to break out in that space … But good luck, name a more toxic duo.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_24″>Show host Rita Panahi added that the thought of Meghan and Lively teaming up would cause a “PR rep to have a nervous breakdown.”</p>
