Mike Graham has been removed from his TalkTV breakfast show, Morning Glory, after a ‘vile post’ appeared on his Facebook in October.

A statement from News UK, parent company of Talk, said: ‘An abhorrent and vile post appeared on Mike Graham’s Facebook page in October.

‘Mike Graham said this was not posted by him and he agreed to cooperate with a company investigation, using an independent forensic firm. He later reneged on several opportunities to cooperate with the company investigation.

‘We have been gravely concerned at his repeated failure to cooperate on such a serious matter and the decision has been taken that Mike Graham will not return to Talk.’

The journalist, 65, was suspended earlier this month after the post was first shared, featuring a picture of a statue of Winston Churchill and Big Ben alongside a packed Tube carriage that had a diverse range of figures in it, including a woman in a hijab.

This was accompanied by a strong-worded caption which read: ‘Tell me we’re not f***ed by multicultural b***cks. ‘Why are we surrounded by non-white people? Just f*** off…’

Graham has claimed his page was hacked after the strongly worded post was deleted

Garnering immediate backlash, the former Scottish Mirror editor deleted it and claimed it was a result of his Facebook page being hacked.

Jeremy Kyle took over for Graham after his suspension, during which an investigation took place.

Earlier this week, Graham shared this statement with followers: ‘On Sunday night my Facebook was accessed and a vile message was posted on my page without my knowledge.

‘It contained words that I would never write and an opinion I don’t share. As soon as I found out I immediately deleted the post and have taken steps to ensure my cyber security.’

Although followers did point out a similar image of Churchill had appeared on his X account again, with the tamer caption: ‘Britain today. Why are we here?,’ according the the Daily Mail.

The broadcaster also presents podcast, Plank of the Week

He later took to X to thank his followers for their support.

‘I just want to say thank you to all of you brilliant listeners and viewers who have sent me some of the most brilliant messages of support over the past couple of weeks.

‘I really appreciate it. I’ve read every single one. They really give me great encouragement,’ he posted.

He was also forced to cancel his imminent show at the Shepherd Bush Empire, extending a ‘personal apology’ to fans and promising it would ‘return next May’.

Graham has been a vocal opponent of Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Last month, after his car was broken into, he said: ‘You can’t walk down the street without being very careful not to get your phone out without being very careful and to watch all around you,’ he said.

‘It really burns me when I see Sadiq Khan talking as if London is the most amazing city in the world. It bloody well should be, but it’s not.’
