Mindy Kaling is celebrating her daughter’s second birthday and marked the special occasion by sharing rare photos and a video of the little one.
Kaling has three children, daughters Katherine (born 2017) and Anne (born 2024), and son Spencer (born 2020). On Tuesday, February 24, the actress took to Instagram to share a series of photos that featured her youngest child.
“I can barely take how much I love my Annie girl,” Kaling wrote in the caption of her post. “She is the top of the Christmas tree, a surprise bite of cookie dough, the baby of the family who made us complete.”
“She loves to sing, wake up with very specific outfit plans, and kisses the pages of her books. She truly believes Elmo is a member of our family,” the star and loving mom continued. “Happy 2nd birthday to our Tiny Jones as @souljagirlllll calls her, little Ponyo, literally the best ever. I love you, Anne Kaling!”

After Kaling shared the Instagram post for Anne’s birthday, the star’s followers filled the comments with birthday messages.

On June 24, 2024, Kaling marked her own birthday by sharing a photo on Instagram of her three children as well as a couple of photos while she was pregnant, including one of her in the hospital.
“In late February I gave birth to my daughter, Anne. Sheâs the best birthday present I couldâve ever imagined,” she wrote in the caption.
“When things are hard, whenever I veer towards cynicism, my three kids are such a great reminder of the pure joy in my life,” she added. “Iâm so lucky I live in a place where I could do this by myself, on my own timeline. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!”
