Molly-Mae Hague appeared to think twice about one of her latest parenting jokes after swiftly deleting an Instagram Story that branded daughter Bambi a ‘spoiled brat’.

The influencer, 27, has been giving followers regular glimpses into life at home since welcoming baby son Midas with partner Tommy Fury, 27, with their growing family now adjusting to life as four.

But one post about three-year-old Bambi disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived.

The snap showed a bright red baseball cap embroidered with the words ‘Spoiled brat’, with Molly joking that she’d found the perfect accessory for her eldest child.

‘Only managed to pick this up for Bambi tonight,’ she wrote over the image.

She then immediately added: ‘Joke… it didn’t come in her size!’

The Story was deleted just minutes later, with Molly offering no explanation for why she’d removed it.

While plenty of parents affectionately tease their children, Molly may simply have decided the joke wasn’t worth leaving online, particularly given the intense scrutiny she and Tommy often face over their parenting.

The couple, who first met on Love Island in 2019, have frequently spoken about trying to give their children as ordinary an upbringing as possible despite their enormous wealth and public profile.

Just a day before Molly’s deleted post, Tommy opened up about one of the strictest rules they’ve introduced for Bambi – limiting screen time almost entirely.

Speaking on the couple’s podcast What The Fury?!, the boxer explained that tablets and phones are reserved only for long journeys.

‘Speaking for myself and my own children, the only time Bambi sees a screen is during a long flight or a long car journey, when I might put something on for her,’ he said.

‘Other than that, she’s outside in the garden, playing in the sunshine, jumping in puddles and going to the park.

‘I try to keep things as normal as possible. I really want Bambi to have a childhood like I did, and my childhood didn’t consist of screens, apps and things like that. I really don’t want that for my children.’

It’s a philosophy Tommy has discussed before.

Despite the family’s lavish lifestyle, he has previously insisted he doesn’t want Bambi growing up expecting private jets, luxury hotels or expensive holidays as the norm, revealing he’d even bought a campervan so they could enjoy more traditional family trips around the UK.

He’s also made clear that smartphones are firmly off the agenda for the foreseeable future.

For now, though, Molly and Tommy have more immediate challenges on their hands.

Molly-Mae has long been open about the ups and downs of parenting, often detailing the many funny and difficult moments of motherhood on her YouTube channel.

Last year, she shared a moment with Bambi in which she was trying to discuss the ‘biting pandemic’ at her nursery.

Molly-Mae previously opened up about struggling with how to handle the toddler’s biting issue, admitting she’s unsure how to appropriately discipline her daughter.

In the video, Bambi tells her mother: ‘I’ve got to bite someone.’

Molly-Mae then responds to Bambi: ‘No. What do we use our mouths for? Your mouth is for food, we don’t bite anyone, OK?’

But it appears that Bambi wasn’t getting the message, as she continued: ‘We bite…Emily. We bite… Dory.’

Unable to resist chuckling, Molly replied, ‘No, no. I don’t know why I’m laughing at that, we bite croissants, we bite pasta, we bite pizza.’

While the pair clearly have plenty on their hands with Bambi, things have not slowed down since welcoming baby Midas.

Molly recently admitted the pair had become ‘delusional’ as they adjusted to sleepless nights and round-the-clock feeds – proving that even for one of Britain’s most glamorous influencer families, newborn life is every bit as exhausting as everyone else’s.
