Going into the finale, the remaining three survivalists competing for the win are Darrin Reay, Matt Wright, and Cheeny Plante. If victorious, Cheeny could make series history as the first woman to take the title. Darrin, who has been living off the land since the age of five, brings a lifetime of experience to the competition. Meanwhile, Matt is widely regarded as the GOATâgreatest of all timeâamong fans and fellow contestants.
Last weekâs episode, titled âFlame On or Flame Out,â sent shockwaves through the remaining survivalists as the high-stakes friction fire challenge rattled even the most seasoned competitors.
Tension escalated when Patrick was unexpectedly forced to surrender his gathered materials, leaving him nearly defenseless and scrambling to recover. Ultimately, he was eliminated from the competition.
With Patrick out, only three survivalists remain: Cheeny Plante, Darrin Reay, and Matt Wright.
In the upcoming Season 3 finale, the final trio must take on one last series of grueling challengesâtesting their bushcraft, fire-starting skills, and archery precision. With a $100,000 grand prize and the coveted title of “Last One Standing” at stake, all three push themselves to their limits in a race to outlast the rest.
The season premiered on May 18, 2025, with 14 elite survivalists ready to test their bushcraft skills and outlast one another.
