On day 25 of the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case, the investigation took an unusual turn as law enforcement showed up at her Tucson, Arizona, home once again.

“Vehicles arrive at Nancy Guthrie’s home. Our drone showed one person entering the back of the house,” News Nation reporter Brian Entin shared via X on Wednesday, February 25.

He later added, “More people arrive at Nancy Guthrie’s house – some dressed in suits.”

Various other reporters shared video of the scene, including footage that appeared to show agents scanning the pool area of Guthrie’s backyard.

“An unmarked SUV pulled into Nancy Guthrie’s garage and the door closed before we could see who got out,” Entin — who has been on the scene in Arizona since Guthrie was reported missing on February 1 — added.

According to KVOA, “two investigators arrived back at the residence” at around 9:15 a.m. local time. Shortly after, three SUVs pulled into the driveway.

“They were seen taking photos outside of the residence, while spending time near the doorway, both inside and outside of the house,” the outlet reported.

The latest commotion at the Guthrie residence comes less than 24 hours after “No trespassing” signs were seen being erected around her property.

It’s unclear who ordered the signs to be placed, or who they are hoping to keep off the property, but more questions were raised by their addition.

“I’m less interested in the sign and more interested in who ordered it,” one user wrote via X. “If it’s police, that suggests active control of the property. If it’s the family, that suggests something else entirely. That detail matters.”

“Why didn’t they just put up police tape from the beginning?” another questioned.

A third noted, “Day 24 and they’re just now putting up no trespassing signs?”

In a conversation with Fox News, one of Guthrie’s neighbors recalled seeing a suspicious man walking in their neighborhood two weeks before Guthrie’s abduction.

“He didn’t have your typical walking gear on, and he had his hat pulled really far over his eyes,” Aldine Meister told Fox News. “He was kind of younger, and he just didn’t look like he was going out for a walk.”

Search for Nancy Guthrie Continues

The 84-year-old mother of “Today” host Savannah Guthrie was reported missing on February 1 after friends noticed she was absent from her regular church service.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, in partnership with the FBI, have been on the case from the beginning, tracking down every lead.

The FBI released a description of the suspect after photos and videos were uncovered from Guthrie’s doorbell camera.

“The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9” – 5’10” tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack,” the agency shared on February 12.

The Guthrie family announced on Tuesday, February 24, that they were increasing the reward money to $1 million for information leading to their mother’s recovery.
