Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David are back in “NCIS: Tony & Ziva,” and they’re packing bags for Paris. Paramount+ is bringing the beloved NCIS couple front and center in a brand-new spinoff series. From action-packed espionage to family drama and steamy tension, the series promises everything longtime âTivaâ fans have been waiting forâand even calls back to a special location from their early days on âNCIS.â
Tony and Ziva Reunite in ParisâWith a New Mission and a Tween Daughter
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo reprise their iconic roles as Anthony âTonyâ DiNozzo and Ziva David, this time as co-parents raising their 12-year-old daughter Tali (played by Isla Gie) in Paris. But life in the City of Light is anything but calm.
According to the showâs official logline, the story begins when Tonyâs security firm is attacked. The family is forced to flee across Europe to stay ahead of the unknown threat. As they go on the run, they must uncover whoâs after themâand whether they can still trust each other enough to survive.
In a joint statement shared via Deadline, Weatherly and de Pablo said the show will be âan action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter.â They added, âThis is for the fans whoâve stuck with âTivaâ all these years, asking what theyâve been up to. We canât wait to finally show you.â
In a teaser video posted to Instagram in May, de Pablo added, âI expect intrigue, romance, the background of Europe, impossible situations that will make our life very complicated, but somehow a little something about love.â
A Romantic, Action-Fueled Callback to Their ‘NCIS’ Roots
Though âNCIS: Tony & Zivaâ stands on its own, it draws directly from the flagship series that made the duo iconic. Tony exited âNCISâ in season 13, after learning that Zivaâpresumed deadâhad given birth to their daughter. Ziva later reappeared in season 16, revealing she had faked her death and gone into hiding. The two reunited off-screen, setting the stage for this new European chapter.
Weatherly said filming again with de Pablo felt surprisingly natural. âIt was surprising how Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters,â he told Variety. âInformed by the past, illuminated by the present, and trying to see a future together.â
And that Paris setting? Thatâs no coincidence. Itâs a meaningful nod to earlier seasons of âNCIS,â when the duo spent time undercover in the French capital. Itâs the kind of detail longtime viewers will recognize as a deep cutâone that connects the past and present of this complex love story.
The 10-episode season will debut with three episodes on September 4, 2025, followed by weekly releases until the finale on October 23. Fans can stream it exclusively on Paramount+.
