Ever wanted the Monopoly money to actually be real?
Well, a new Netflix show is promising just that and you could be in with a chance of winning the huge cash prize.
$2million is up for grabs in a new competition series hosted by the streamer, which will see 12 players taking part.
Contestants will swap the 50 x 50cm board for a life-size Monopoly Town Square where they’ll live out the real estate game making deals, earning cash and buying houses.
According to Tudum by Netflix: ‘One by one, bankrupt players will be eliminated while others build their empire — until the one person left standing takes it all.’

It comes after Netflix made a pact with Hasbro Entertainment for the rights to Monopoly – the series will be made in partnership with the company and produced by Studio Lambert.
Fans online reacted to the news. Karlito joked on X: ‘Finally a chance to use my “Go directly to jail” card for real life rent payments.’
While Sofia said she hoped the ‘”Bank Error in Your Favour” card is worth $2m’.
Dev would seemingly rather the streamer bring back another series than create a new one. He replied to the announcement: ‘Doing anything but renewing The Society.’
The show will join a roster of other unscripted adaptations of board games and films.
This includes Wonka’s The Golden Ticket, which is out September 23.
Other competition shows produced by Studio Lambert and brought to the streamer include ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ and ‘The Circle’.

Hasbro Entertainment is also producing a Monopoly film with Lionsgate and Margot Robbie’s production company Lucky Chap, as they attempt to build on the success of Barbie with Mattel.
The game we now know as Monopoly was created by a left-wing feminist called Lizzie Magie who patented the board game in 1903.
For many years a man called Charles Darrow, who was introduced to the game years later, was credited as being the original inventor.
It debuted in 1935, and has sold over 275million copies across the world.
Netflix’s Monopoly series will premiere in autumn 2027.
