Nicolas Cage and his wife, Riko Shibata, looked every bit the stylish couple at the “Spider-Noir” premiere in New York City on Wednesday.
The 62-year-old actor appeared perfectly in sync with his 32-year-old wife as the pair walked the red carpet hand-in-hand in coordinating black ensembles.
For the event, Cage rocked a slim-fitting black suit, white shirt, and a matching navy blue tie. The “City of Angels” star also sported freshly dyed dark hair, giving him a more youthful glow.
Shibata, on the other hand, wore a chic all-black ensemble featuring a pleated black skirt paired with a lace-patterned long-sleeve top, and matching black ankle boots. She completed the look with her long, sleek black hair with blunt bangs.
“Spider-Noir” is Cage’s first lead TV role. He plays the aging private investigator Ben Reilly. Other cast members include Morris as Robbie Robertson, Brendan Gleeson as villain Silvermane, and Jack Huston as Flint Marko.

Nicolas Cage and Riko Shibata first met in early 2020 through mutual friends, per Flaunt Magazine. At the time, the actor was in Shiga, Japan, filming his 2021 movie “Prisoners of the Ghostland.”
The pair was later photographed holding hands in February 2020. In February 2021, Cage and Shibata tied the knot in a “very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas,” according to PEOPLE.
The couple went on to welcome their first child together, daughter August Francesca, on September 7, 2022. August is Cage’s third child, and Shibata’s first.

In 2020, Nicolas Cage gushed about Riko Shibata and revealed their unusual engagement.
“She left New York and went back to Kyoto, Japan, and I went back to Nevada, and I haven’t seen her for six months,” Cage said in an interview with Marc Coppola’s radio show. “We were really happy together, and we were really excited to spend that time together, so I finally just said, ‘Look, I wanna marry you,’ and we got engaged on FaceTime.”
Cage also revealed that he gave Shibata a black diamond ring, which he mailed to Japan after he popped the big question.
“Her favorite color is black, so she wanted the black gold, and the black diamond,” the actor explained at the time. “I found it, and I customized and personalized it, and I actually sent it to her via FedEx.”
Shibata, who is originally from Kyoto, Japan, is now living with Cage in the U.S.
Before marrying Riko Shibata, Nicolas Cage had been married four times â to Patricia Arquette (1995â2001), Lisa Marie Presley (2002â2004), Alice Kim (2004â2016), and Erika Koike (2019).
