<p id=”par-2_60″>On Monday, the Oscar-winner was spotted out and about for the first time since she filed for <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/hollywood-cleanest-divorce-nicole-kidman-keith-urban-child-support-alimony.html/”>divorce from her husband, Keith Urban</a> on September 30. She debuted new haircut with stylish bangs when she attended the Chanel runway show in Parish on October 6. The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nicole-kidman-reese-witherspoon-called-1-big-little-lies-review-sexist.html/”><em>Big Little Lies</em></a><em> </em>star also wore a back-to-basics white button-down shirt and loose-fitting jeans. </p>

<p id=”par-3_61″>Kidman, 58, attended the Paris Fashion Week event with her and Urban’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Her daughters showed that they’d inherited their mom’s effortless sense of style. Sunday Rose donned a red sleeveless top and jeans and styled her long hair with a center part. Faith Margaret wore a little black dress and denim jacket. </p>
<p id=”par-4_83″>Kidman has spoken frequently about her close relationship with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nicole-kidman-keith-urban-daughters-golden-globes-rare-joint-appearance-award-shows.html/”>her two youngest daughters</a>. (She also has a daughter, Isabella, 32, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.) In her divorce filing, she requested primary residential custody of Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Kidman and Urban had already worked out a parenting plan prior to announcing their split, <a href=”https://people.com/nicole-kidman-keith-urban-signed-parenting-plan-weeks-before-filing-for-divorce-11821768″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a> reports, with the girls expected to remain with their mom for 306 days of the year. They’ll be with their dad for the remaining 59 days. </p>
<p id=”par-5_70″>“I’m very close to both my girls,” Kidman told <a href=”https://www.allure.com/story/nicole-kidman-2025-cover-interview” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Allure</a> earlier this year. “I sit on their beds and discuss the most intimate things; I get to be their guide. If they want to tell me to be quiet, they can. I’m able to apologize to them. I’m able to stand up to them. I very much like the relationship we have. It’s nice to be able to say that.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_27″>Kidman was also very close to her own mother, who died in September 2024. She told Allure that her grief over that loss was still quite fresh. </p>
<p id=”par-7_69″>“Losing my mother changed every part of me,” she said. “I spoke to her every second or third day. And because she was on the other side of the world, if I woke up at 5:00 a.m., I’d get up, I’d walk around the block and I’d talk to her for an hour before the girls got up, before Keith got up. That was the rhythm of my day.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_84″>“I’m so raw with it,” she added. “I feel embarrassed because I feel like, Oh, you’ve talked about it enough. So I have to keep saying to myself, It’s okay. Maybe it’s my sense of what I feel I should be doing. I’m trying to be quiet and have it be a more intimate thing with just my friends or my sister. The love was so profound that the loss of it … I’m on the journey of grief, the year of magical thinking.”</p>
