Separate Fresha search analysis shows searches for “glass skin” have risen 202%, with over 585,000 searches. Moreover, “skin tint” increased 116%, “dewy skin” increased 109%, and “glow makeup” increased 107%.</p>

<p id=”par-4_50″>According to beauty expert Danielle Louise, “Nicole’s complexion is probably one of the first things you notice in these images. It has that incredibly smooth, luminous finish that people now associate with the glass-skin look. Glass skin has become such a huge beauty goal because it isn’t really about heavy makeup.</p>
<p id=”par-5_41″>“The look is built around hydration, luminosity and creating a complexion that catches the light. A 202% increase in searches is significant. People clearly aren’t losing interest in glowing skin. If anything, they’re becoming more interested in how to achieve it.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_29″>So just what exactly is “glass skin”? The term originated in Korean beauty and describes skin that appears exceptionally smooth, hydrated, and luminous, creating an almost reflective finish.</p>
<p id=”par-7_63″>Louise notes that the key distinction is that “glass skin” is less about covering the complexion and more about how the skin itself looks, explaining, “You can apply illuminating makeup, but the best glass-skin looks start underneath it. Hydration is the biggest part of it. When skin is dehydrated, makeup can settle into dry areas, and the complexion tends to look flatter. </p>

<p id=”par-11_67″>“When it comes to makeup, I’d choose a lightweight skin tint or sheer base rather than automatically reaching for full coverage. Cream and liquid products can then help maintain that dewy finish. The trick is being selective. You want luminosity across the high points of the face without making every area equally shiny.
