A British pop icon is set to charge fans just £7 to watch him perform live at an intimate gig in London – hosted by a beloved café in Camberwell.
Craig David, 44, scored two UK number ones in the early 2000s with his songs Fill Me In and 7 Days, and most recently had a top 10 hit in 2020 with KSI.
He’s now teamed up with Just Eat and community favourite eatery Johnnie’s in south London to give his fans the chance to get a close-up concert.
On November 13, the Walking Away hitmaker will take over Johnnie’s and turn the retro café into a concert venue for a select group of lucky music fans.
As well as hearing a bunch of his big hits from down the years, those in attendance will also hear a live performance of his current sensation Every Neighbour Got Their Flava (Just Eat).
The song has been produced in conjunction with the delivery company as part of their latest ad campaign, which has gone down a hit on TV and on social media.
While the song itself is only a minute in length, the advert has racked up 11 million views on YouTube in the month since it was first uploaded and broadcast.
Kris-Ym2Zr had nothing but praise for the campaign on YouTube: ‘The first ad in I don’t know how many years, that I’ve searched out to watch again.’
TheBakeryDuh concurred: ‘First ad I’ve had on YT loop like I’m listening to Apple Music, I love love love this – I need a full 3 mins version and the extended mix.’
Tickets will be available through Skiddle from November 5 and will cost just £7 – although fans can register for tickets ahead on the Skiddle website when they go on sale.

Hosts Johnnie’s has been at the heart of the community in Camberwell for 50 years – the family-run café is open for business seven days a week (appropriately for Craig David).
The owner’s son, Sonny, has run the place for the last 20 years, and Craig has said that he’s ‘gassed’ to be performing such a unique and special show.
‘Iʼm gassed for this one. It’s going to be such a vibe performing my TS5 set at Johnnies Cafe & playing my Just Eat track ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flavaʼ live for the first time.’
Johnnie’s currently has a rating of 4.2 out of 5.0 on Trip Advisor, with 57 out of 92 respondents giving the café full marks, praising the food and sense of community.
According to Skiddle, the event will run between 7pm and 10pm and will feature Craig’s TS5 set, which has become a firm favourite among his fans in recent years.
Attendees will be treated to ‘nostalgic garage vibes, refreshing drinks, tasty food, warm-up and closing DJ sets, as well as exclusive merch’.
The gig comes amid a revival for Craig, with his ninth studio album Commitment reaching the UK top 10 just two months ago, which means that seven of his nine albums have reached the top 10.
So far, six singles have been released from the album, with the title track reaching the UK downloads chart and the UK single sales chart.
He’s also set to play shows across the UK to mark the 25th anniversary of his debut album, Born to Do It, with two nights planned for the Hammersmith Apollo in April.
