Olly Murs has declared that his honeymoon period with his wife is ‘definitely over’ after they welcomed their second child.
The Dance With Me Tonight singer, 41, and his fitness influencer wife, 32, recently revealed the adorable moment their newborn baby boy met his 1-year-old daughter.
Posting a picture of Amelia Tank on Instagram as she cradled her new son, Olly wrote: ‘Two beautiful kids, one unbelievable, incredible wife x I’m a lucky lucky man xx’
Now, after appearing at the 2025 Variety Club Showbusiness Awards in London on Sunday, Olly has confessed that he is in a new phase of his relationship with Amelia.
Discussing his Marry Me album, which was recorded during his ‘honeymoon period’ with Amelia before they had children, Olly said his new music takes a ‘cheekier turn’.
Speaking to Entertainment Daily! he explained: ‘I wrote an album three years ago, and it was the Marry Me album. It was when we had no children, so it was like a honeymoon period.
‘So it was like: “Oh, I love you. You’re amazing. You’re incredible”.
‘This album, I was able to be a little bit more cheekier with it. So when people hear it, the honeymoon period’s definitely gone, but in a fun way.
‘We’re talking about other things in the music, but still celebrating my love for her.’
On Easter weekend, Olly and Amelia announced they were expecting a baby by sharing a black and white video on social media, alongside the words: ‘We’re so egg-cited to share this..… Another Baby Murs on the way.’
They were inundated with congratulatory messages from famous friends, including pop star Anne-Marie, Strictly’s Dianne Buswell, and I’m A Celeb’s Giovanna Fletcher.
Amelia and Olly married in July 2023, and fans were treated to a video of the emotional moment the teary singer watched his wife walk down the aisle.
Olly paid cheeky tribute to his wife on their anniversary this summer, writing alongside one of their gorgeous wedding snaps: ‘Sometimes I look at my wife and think, damn she is one lucky lady 🤪🤣 happy 2 years married darlin x life with you is the best x’
He previously confirmed that he’d ‘cried like a four-year-old’ on his wedding day, which was held in a secluded venue on Osea Island in the Blackwater Estuary.
