Ehie is actually fairly well-known on TikTok and has built herself a pretty extensive following even before her viral series on the alleged scam. Bachelor Nation fans, however, might recognize her from her stint on reality TV. Long before she fell for a Danish con artist, Ehie competed on <em>The Bachelor</em> and <em>Bachelor in Paradise</em>. Here is how she did on those shows</p>

<p id=”par-2_71″>Bachelor Nation alum, Onyeka Ehie, is making waves on <a href=”https://www.tiktok.com/@onyekaehie/playlist/The%20Danish%20Deception-7572628254348069645″>TikTok</a>. This month, Ehie took to the social media platform to inform her fans and followers that she was in a scam marriage. In a 28-part series, Ehie revealed that from 2022 to 2024, she was in a relationship with a Danish man she says turned out to be a professional con artist. Ehie says she was even married to him briefly.</p>

<p id=”par-3_87″>The Bachelor Nation alum said that she met a man from Denmark who claimed to be a former Olympian and estranged member of royalty. She claims he love-bombed her, told her lies, and then slowly started asking her for loans, all under the auspice that he’d pay her back when his accounts were unfrozen. She revealed that they got married in 2023. Eventually, she said, she began noticing cracks in his story. Ehie contends that, over time, she began to unravel his lies. They split in 2024.</p>

<p id=”par-4_104″>While Ehie has decided to go public about her marriage to an alleged con artist, fans watched her hunt for love before. Long before she met her ex-husband, Ehie competed on season 23 of <em>The Bachelor</em>. While Ehie didn’t make it terribly far <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-bachelor-colton-underwood-fk-franchise-anymore.html/”>with Colton Underwood,</a> she had one of the most memorable moments of the entire season. Ehie and fellow contestant Nicole Lopez-Alvar had a confrontation after Ehie told Underwood that Lopez-Alvar was not stable and signed up for the show for the wrong reasons. Lopez-Alvar accuses Ehie of bullying. While Underwood didn’t take sides, he did dismiss both contestants during week six.</p>

She appeared in <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/bachelor-in-paradise-season-6-couples-still-together.html/”>season 6 of <em>Bachelor in Paradise</em></a> the same year. Ehie was far more poised and collected during her time in paradise. While she wanted to find love, she was determined not to force anything. When she didn’t find a connection, she left the show of her own accord. Ehie told her fellow contestants that she wasn’t trying to force a romantic connection where one didn’t exist. She hasn’t returned to televised dating since, though her “Danish Deception” content series might be enough to draw significant interest if she were to return to a dating competition.</p>
