Orlando Bloom may have just put breakup rumours to rest with one subtle move on Instagram.
The Lord of the Rings actor, 47, showed public support for fiancée Katy Perry amid swirling speculation that their nine-year relationship is in trouble.
The couple has been surrounded by breakup rumours as of late, with fans spotting that Katy has ditched her engagement ring in recent public appearances.
Reports have suggested that the couple has split, with Orlando set to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding solo, with Katy on her Lifestimes world tour.
While he simply liked Perry’s recent Instagram video, for fans, it spoke volumes.
The pop superstar, 39, shared a reel from her visit to the Australia Zoo in Queensland, originally founded by the late Steve Irwin.
In the video, Perry is seen feeding giraffes, petting kangaroos, cradling koalas, and even holding a baby bat named Daisy – a sweet nod to her and Bloom’s four-year-old daughter.
Clad in a cozy checkered cardigan, black turtleneck, jeans, and a brown beret, Perry looked relaxed. Yet fans quickly noticed the absence of her engagement ring, reigniting talk that the couple may have quietly parted ways.
Despite the speculation, Bloom’s like on the post didn’t go unnoticed. It was a quiet but deliberate signal of support, as insiders continue to debate the status of the A-list pair.
Adding to the intrigue, the actor was spotted strolling through the streets of Perth with little Daisy ahead of Perry’s local performance for her Lifetimes tour.
He later shared his own snapshots from Kangaroo Island, suggesting that while they may not be side by side, the family remains connected.
Bloom is also reportedly set to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s upcoming wedding solo, as Perry’s touring schedule conflicts with the lavish event.
The pair’s love story began nearly a decade ago at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2016.
The Teenage Dream singer and Pirates of the Caribbean actor first met at a Golden Globes afterparty in January 2016 after feeling peckish following the star-studded ceremony.
‘I met my boyfriend over In-N-Out,’ Katy explained. ‘We were at the Golden Globes and we weren’t together.
‘I had my security guard grab 10 In-N-Outs and all of a sudden I see my boyfriend’s hand — he wasn’t even sitting at our table — he just swoops in and he grabs it and I was like, “Hey that’s my burger!”’
Orlando, who is eight years older than Katy, revealed that he wasn’t ‘overly familiar with her artistic endeavours’ when they first met.
The Troy actor had previously been married to Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, who he shares son Flynn, 12, with, while Katy was married to actor Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012.

After an early breakup in 2017, they rekindled their romance a year later and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.
Their wedding plans were postponed due to the pandemic, but in 2020, they had another reason to celebrate: Perry announced her pregnancy in the music video for Never Worn White, which ended with a shot of her cradling her baby bump.
They welcomed Daisy Dove Bloom in August that year.
The couple has not confirmed or denied their split, but has continued to show a united front as parents, with Orlando supporting Katy during her Blue Orign space mission with their daughter.
Additionally, back in May, Katy referred to Orlando as ‘my man’ in the intro to a song at her concert.
However, earlier this month, a source told People that the relationship has been deteriorating for some time and ‘isn’t looking good.’
They added, ‘They’re pretty much done,’ and suggested reconciliation may not be likely.
