Pamela Anderson Ditches Blonde for Copper-Red Makeover [PIC]

Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson has exchanged her longtime signature platinum locks for a bold copper-red hue, unveiling the dramatic shift in her hair color during this year’s Paris Fashion Week.

At 58, the “Baywatch” icon surprised fans with a choppy, messy-chic bob — a sharp departure from her decades of blonde continuity.

Her stylist, Bailey Moon, also circulated shots showing Anderson’s new copper tone paired with a wispy, textured cut.

Fans React

Fans couldn’t get enough of Anderson’s gorgeous new look!

“Very youthful on her I love it,” one user wrote.

Another couldn’t help but be reminded of icon Mia Farrow. “I thought it was Mia Farrow at first! Pam’s natural look is beautiful,” they noted.

“It’s yes from me! It’s definitely a vibe …I love it on her,” another continued.

Others loved the fact that Anderson decided to make a change. “Think that’s perfect for her skin tone and love how she allows herself to change her appearance,” one said.

Anderson Likes to Change Up Her Look

The fresh color arrives on the heels of Anderson’s much-discussed decision to move beyond glam makeup.

Since debuting a makeup-free look at Paris Fashion Week in 2023, she has leaned into natural beauty statements.

Anderson told PEOPLE in November 2023 that she didn’t think anyone would really notice

“I’m makeup free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?” she told the outlet. “I really didn’t know anyone would notice it, but I’m glad it became a positive message.”

She added how she might wear it again in the future. “I’m not opposed to it, I just don’t want to play the game,” she noted. “And it felt good to look in the mirror and say, ‘I’m OK just like this.’”

The actress first teased change earlier this year, chopping her long blonde hair into a blunt bob with micro bangs for the 2025 Met Gala.

She described that salon move as part of a “feminine warrior” aesthetic, aligning with the gala’s “tailoring” theme, according to In Style.

“For the Met, I wanted something strong, brave, and committed—aligned with the night’s theme of tailoring from head to toe,” Anderson said at the time.

“I believe the world needs more of a feminine warrior presence, and this was my small contribution,” she went on the say. “It wasn’t about looking ‘good.’ That’s subjective anyway. [Tory Burch’s] dress was the star. I was just blessed to wear it.”
