‘White Lotus‘ alum Patrick Schwarzenegger just landed a major romantic lead! According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Patrick has been cast opposite Margaret Qualley in “Love of Your Life”.
The film will be a romantic drama in the works at Amazon MGM Studios.
“Love of Your Life” is being produced by Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson under their new banner, Open Invite Entertainment. It’ll be directed by Rachel Morrison, known for her Oscar-nominated cinematography on Mudbound and Black Panther.
Schwarzenegger and Qualley To Play Former Flames in Emotional Drama
Schwarzenegger, who made waves this year with his fan-favorite role in “The White Lotus” Season 3, will play an old friend and ex to Qualleyâs character. Qualley will be playing a young woman grieving the loss of her husband and trying to find a new way forward.
The role marks one of Schwarzeneggerâs most significant film moments yet, following the buzz about his recent performances.
As for Qualley, sheâs fresh off a Golden Globe nomination for her daring role in “The Substance” and continues to impress with a string of emotional, grounded performances. She’s also the daughter of actress Andie MacDowell, while Schwarzenegger comes from Hollywood royalty himself as the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.
The Story Behind ‘Love of Your Life’
Written by Julia Cox (Nyad), the script is described as a heartstring-tugging weeper. It follows a young widow (Qualley) whose emotional journey leads her to reconnect with her past, including her ex (Schwarzenegger).

Filming is expected to begin in August, with production heading to locations across Europe.
Patrick Schwarzeneggerâs Breakout Momentum Continues
“Love of Your Life” is yet another sign that Schwarzenegger is leveling up quickly. His role as Saxon Ratliff in “The White Lotus Season 3” turned him into a breakout name, earning him praise (and some ironic love).
Earlier this year, Patrick Schwarzenegger also played Tim Tebow in “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez”, part of Ryan Murphyâs latest anthology series.
Heâs also been seen in HBO Maxâs Emmy-nominated “The Staircase”, Prime Videoâs “The Terminal List”, and the Gen V spinoff of “The Boys”.
Schwarzenegger starred in Netflixâs “Moxie”, directed by Amy Poehler, and recently wrapped filming on the sci-fi thriller Warning. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he even turned down offers â including one for a “Street Fighter” film, according to insiders.
