The Bear star Jeremy Allen White has freaked fans out with his new look – starring as Bruce Springsteen in an upcoming biopic about the iconic singer.
The actor, 33, plays The Boss in an upcoming film about his life and early career – itself an adaptation of Warren Zanes’ 2023 book of the same name, directed by Scott Cooper.
Titled Deliver Me From Nowhere, the biopic is set in the 1980s, during the making of Bruce’s 1982 album Nebraska.
In playing the E Street Band frontman, Jeremy has stepped into the singer’s boots – and denim, of course -to fully personify 1980s Bruce Springsteen.
New set pictures from the film have captured the actor in the role, photographed in Bayonne, New Jersey on Monday – looking the part in a leather jacket, denim jeans and heeled boots.
However, it’s the actor’s face which has gotten fans talking – with the former US Shameless star hiding his signature baby blue eyes behind a set of dark brown contact lenses.

Posting on Instagram this week, the entertainment account Bustle shared a close-up of Jeremy’s brown-eyed look, accompanied with the caption: ‘I don’t know who this man is’ – a quote accredited to actress and singer Keke Palmer.
In the comments below the post, fans shared their horror.
‘Who can we sue? This is a crime! And we’ve already suffered enough this week 😭’ wept lalauralou.
‘This is terrifying. I’m gonna have nightmares about this tonight,’ said emmylouwho.
‘HOLLYWOOD YOU’VE GONE TOO FAR,’ exclaimed caddimaddi.

The real-life Bruce, 75, joined his screen counterpart on set on Monday, where they were pictured hugging in what seems to be a car dealership parking lot.
The Dancing in the Dark singer previously registered his approval of Jeremy’s casting, calling him the ‘right guy’ for the role.
‘I only had to see him on The Bear, and I knew he was the right guy,’ the musician told The Telegraph. ‘He had that interior life, but he also had a little swagger.’

The film will also star Boiling Point actor Stephen Graham, 51, as Bruce’s record producer and mentor Jon Landau, alongside Johnny Cannizzaro as E Street Band member Stevie Van Zandt, Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan, and Odessa Young as Faye.
Record producer and Bruce’s mentor, Jon Landau, will be played by another famously stressed screen chef – Stephen Graham, 51.
Of the film, director Scott Cooper said: ‘The album’s raw, unvarnished portrayal of life’s trials and resilience resonates deeply with me.
‘Our film aims to capture that same spirit, bringing Warren Zanes’ compelling narrative of Bruce’s life to the screen with authenticity and hope, honouring Bruce’s legacy in a transformative cinematic experience.’
Deliver Me From Nowhere is slated for release next year.
