It also follows senior therapist Paul (Harrison Ford) as he rekindles his relationship with his family after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

On Reddit, viewers are thrilled that season 2 of Shrinking, which was co-created by Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein, is now available to stream.

Echoing their sentiment, LumiereGatsby enthused: ‘Love it so much. Love the cast. The heartbeat it has for wellness. Great comfort TV.’

Lacy Baugher Mila in Paste Magazine said the show was Apple TV Plus’s ‘most underrated gem’ with a ‘warm and expansive’ second season.

In Rolling Stone, Alan Sepinwall wrote: ‘Fortunately, Shrinking still feels like itself: a big-hearted comedy that’s unapologetically messy, in terms of story and tone, and one that can still turn on a dime from silliness into sorrow.’

Speaking about Shrinking to Parade, Jason teased a cliffhanger ending for season 2: ‘I think season 2, the ending packs as much punch as season 1.’

He also hinted there is more Shrinking to come: ‘I think that we’re kind of following some of the stages of grief as a template. If season 1 was about grief itself, season 2 is about forgiveness.

‘And we have a plan for season 3 as well. It’s just like watching someone get to the other side of something.’

Shrinking is available to stream on Apple TV Plus.
