
“Parenthood” captured the hearts of viewers with its relatable family dynamics and storylines. The NBC drama ran for six seasons from March 2010 to January 2015 and quickly became a fan-favorite.

Craig T. Nelson
After Zeek Bravermanâs emotional death in the “Parenthood” series finale on January 29, 2015, Craig T. Nelson barely slowed down, quickly diving into new projects.
That same year, Nelson starred in five episodes of Netflix’s “Grace and Frankie” and appeared in movies, including “Gold” and “Book Club.”
In 2018, Nelson reprised his role as Mr. Incredible on “Incredibles 2.” The following year, he took a recurring role as Coach Dale Ballard on “Young Sheldon.” Nelson’s most recent starring role is in the 2025 film “Green and Gold.”
Bonnie Bedelia
Bedelia played the Braverman matriarch Camille on “Parenthood.” After her time on the show, the actress has since appeared on “Designated Survivor” and an episode of Netflix’s “What/If.”
Bedelia also appeared in movies, including Hallmark Countdown to Christmas films “A Joyous Christmas” (2017) and “Christmas on the Coast” (2018). The actress also had roles in “A Very Sordid Wedding” and “The Scent of Rain & Lightning.”
Most recently, Bedelia was seen in Dennis Quaid’s 2023 biopic “The Hill.”
Peter Krause
After his role as Adam Braverman on “Parenthood,” Krause jumped into a starring role on ABC’s “The Catch” and Fox’s “9-1-1.”
The actor also appeared in movies including “Night Owls” and “Saint Judy,” and made a cameo as Park Ranger #2 on “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.”
Monica Potter
Potter starred as Kristina Braverman on “Parenthood.” After the show ended, the actress booked a starring role in the short-lived CBS drama “Wisdom of the Crowd.” Potter also appeared in some episodes of Amazon Prime’s “Goliath” and “Classified.”
Outside of acting, Potter stayed busy with her business, Monica Potter Home, which launched in 2014. In 2017, she appeared on CNBCâs “The Profit” seeking help to revive the struggling company, but ultimately backed out of the deal.
Sarah Ramos
Ramos’ character, Haddie Braverman, went on from being a series regular to recurring guest star in season four of “Parenthood.” The actress went on to make guest appearances on “Drunk History,” “The Affair,” “The Bear,” and “The Long Road Home.”
Ramos starred in NBCâs “Midnight Texas” and appeared in films including “How to Be Single.” She also directed herself in the short film “Fluffy” and the web series “City Girl.”
Max Burkholder
Burkholder played the role of Max Braverman on “Parenthood.” After his stint on the series, the actor appeared in films “Babysitter,” “Almost Home,” “Imaginary Order,” and “Benjamin.”
Burkholder was also on Queen Latifah’s Quibi series “When the Street Lights Go On” and Amazon Prime’s animated series “Invincible.” Most recently, he starred in Peacock’s “Ted.”
Lauren Graham
After ending her role as Sarah Braverman on “Parenthood,” Graham returned to her roots for Netflix’s four-part “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” in 2016.
Since then, Graham took part in episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and voiced over Disney Junior’s “Vampirina.” She also starred in NBC’s “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” and Disney+’s “Mighty Ducks” reboot.
In 2025, Graham starred in Tubi’s “The Z-Suite.”
Mae Whitman
Whitman played Sarah’s daughter, Amber Holt, on “Parenthood.” After the series ended, she did some voice acting as Batgirl in “DC Super Hero Girls” and April O’Neil in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
Whitman appeared in movies including “The Duff,” “CHIPS,” and “Duck Butter.” The actress also starred in NBC’s dramedy “Good Girls.”
Miles Heizer
“Parenthood” fans may remember Heizer as the character Drew Holt. After his time on the show, he went on to appear in films “The Stanford Prison Experiment,” “Nerve,” “Roman J. Israel,” “Esq” and “Love, Simon.”
He was also a guest judge in “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 10 and starred in Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why.”
Erika Christensen
Christensen played Julia Braverman-Graham on “Parenthood.” She went on to land a lead role in ABC’s “Wicked City.”
Other projects she’s worked on include Hallmark’s “Anything for Love,” HBO’s “Confirmation,” Lifetime’s “The Follower,” films “All at Once,” and “Ten Days in the Valley.
Sam Jaeger
Jaeger, who played Joel Graham on “Parenthood,” landed roles on “Law & Order True Crime,” “Tell Me a Story,” “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “The Politician,” and “Why Women Kill.”
Dax Shepard
Since parting ways with his character, Crosby Braverman, Shepard has written, directed, and starred in “CHIPS.” He also guest starred on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” and “Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.”
In addition, Shepard replaced Danny Masterson on Netflix’s “The Ranch” and starred on ABC’s “Bless This Mess.” He also launched his hit podcast “Armchair Expert.”
