Tennis legend Venus Williams and Italian actor-producer Andrea Preti have officially married, celebrating their love with a lavish five-day event in Florida that brought together family, friends and unforgettable moments.
Images of the stunning ceremony were captured by Vogue and shared with fans on Tuesday, December 23.
The couple, who were first linked in 2024 and became engaged on Jan. 31, 2025, marked their union with joy and thoughtful celebration after navigating the legal steps necessary for marriage in the U.S. and abroad.
The celebrations began earlier this year with a wedding ceremony in Ischia, Italy, where Preti was raised.
That ceremony fulfilled the coupleâs dream of marrying in his homeland, surrounded by picturesque views and close loved ones.
âWe had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,â Williams told Vogue. âBut we didnât have enough time to do the paperworkâbecause Iâm a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding.â
Williams and Preti opted to continue the festivities back in the United States.
All About the Week of the Wedding
Back in Palm Beach, Florida, where Williams grew up alongside sister Serena, the newlyweds enjoyed a joyful week of events designed to reflect both their personalities and her competitive spirit.
The festivities kicked off with a yacht party gifted by Serena, setting an upbeat tone for the week.
âThey always say weddings go so fast, and they do,â Williams told the outlet. âWe started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.â
There were bridal showers, themed dinners, pool parties and even a lively sports day featuring dodgeball, pickleball and friendly competitions that mirrored Williamsâ athletic roots. Â
âI didnât want to be the team captain â I just wanted to be on the team with my husband,â Williams said on the the sports-filled day.
Williams Had an Early Morning Courthouse Wedding
The finale came with a courthouse wedding in Palm Beach, held at 6:45 a.m. so the couple could have the space to themselves.
Williams described the intimate ceremony as âbeautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting.â
Preti added that while their Italian wedding was his âbest day,â the courthouse ceremony was deeply meaningful and emotional in its own way.
They later had a wedding ceremony after the courthouse ceremony.
Throughout the week, Williams wore multiple custom bridal looks, showcasing a mix of elegant and playful outfits that reflected her individuality as both an athlete and a bride.
