A heavily pregnant Megan McKenna, 31, shared the exciting news that she is moving to Germany to her Instagram followers.
The influencer, and fiance of footballer Oliver Burke, 27, uploaded an Instagram reel to her 2.9 million followers explaining why she was packing everything up – and no, she hasn’t gone into labour.
‘Guess what, I’m moving to Germany,’ the gluten-free cookbook author told fans as she dished up her ‘crispy kale’ and ‘honey garlic, soy’ cod dinner.
‘I know I did a few stories yesterday about packing, and I think a few of you thought it was going into labour, but no let’s hope I don’t go into labour because I’m now giving birth in Germany,’ she continued.
The former Towie star then addressed those asking where Oliver is, adding: ‘Obviously Ollie is in Germany and all our stuff has been in storage for a couple of months.’
The Scottish forward is currently playing for German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen.

Megan reflected that it was ‘actually crazy that I’m moving to a different country’.
‘I’m actually excited it’s obviously going to be a big change. As you guys know I’ve been getting really bad braxton hicks I just need you to stay in there until I get to Germany,’ she said, aggressively pointing to her stomach while she laughed.
The media personality has got everything prepared for the big move, including an ’emergency birthing bag’ in case she goes into ‘early labour’.
She then admitted that although she picked German over Spanish in school she ‘actually doesn’t know how to speak German,’ before cheekily dropping one of the most commonly known German words, ‘guten-tag’.
‘Time for our next chapter… Guten tag I’m so excited. What’s “I’m gluten free” in German?’ the X Factor winner wrote in the caption.

Fans have shared their well-wishes for this next stage in Megan and Oliver’s life as they become first-time parents.
Naturally, Oliver himself took to the comments to write: ‘Can’t wait to see you’.
‘Awww this is going to work out perfectly you all together as a family 🥹 👶🏼 not long now! Can’t wait to give you one last squeeze before baby arrives then I’m straight on that plane!’ friend and stylist Lauren Mauro wrote.
‘Wishing you and Oli the best of luck in your next chapter in Germany and becoming parents,’ user Brogan Georgia said.
‘You look amazing girl enjoy Germany the food over there apparently is delicious,’ jake1233 shared.
Others shared their concern for Megan as she moves away from her family at such a pivotal moment in her life.
‘What a time to move. your family & friends must be so sad – as are we!,’ Kirstyjanechapman1984 added.
‘Wow your family are going to miss you, hope you’re going to be ok being a new mum xxx,’ liane.turner echoed.

Megan has had a tricky pregnancy after suffering from both a ‘painful abscess’ and an allergic reaction to medication which caused swelling around her tongue and neck and landed her in hospital.
At the time she told followers: ‘Now it’s all about trying to get better, it’s just so bad.
‘Just being pregnant has made my body so much more sensitive, I am allergic to everything.
‘I’ve been in so much pain. I’ve been on codeine and paracetamol and when I say that the codeine just takes the edge off, I have still been in pain. Honestly, it’s the worst thing ever, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.’
Oliver and Megan got engaged in June 2023 after a whirlwind romance and announced their ‘secret’ pregnancy earlier this year.
They also got candid about their pregnancy journey and detailed Megan’s fertility struggles after being diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) when she was younger.
