<p id=”par-1_41″>By now, royal fans around the world have seen all the headlines about <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-family-member-embarrassed-credit-card-declined-3-times-public-event.html/”>Princess Beatrice</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/princess-eugenie-opens-health-battle-left-hospitalized-unable-to-get-out-of-bed.html/”>Princess Eugenie</a>‘s parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. After more allegations surfaced about their association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the Palace took action. </p>
<p id=”par-2_99″>On Oct. 17, amid mounting pressure from the public and members of his own family, Andrew was left with no choice but to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/prince-andrew-no-choice-drop-royal-titles-expert-says.html/”>relinquish his Duke of York title</a>. He released a statement that read in part: “The continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first … I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”</p>
<p id=”par-3_29″>Less than two weeks later, King Charles <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/king-charles-just-put-his-foot-down-as-andrew-can-no-longer-use-prince-title-and-must-leave-royal-lodge-home.html/”>stripped his brother of the “prince” title</a> he was born with and ordered that he and his ex-wife vacate Royal Lodge. </p>

<p id=”par-4_69″>The Palace’s statement on that read: “His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor … “the lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided [Andrew] with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_61″>Andrew and Sarah will no longer make appearances with the royal family and it seems that their days of public life in the spotlight are effectively over now. But left to grapple with the sins of their parents are Beatrice and Eugenie as things reportedly haven’t been easy for them, especially since their names were dragged into the Epstein scandal. </p>
<p id=”par-6_49″>It emerged in an email written by Epstein that Sarah brought both of her daughters with her to celebrate the financier’s release from prison in 2009. That caused plenty of embarrassment for the siblings given what everyone knows now, and they have not been seen in public lately. </p>

<p id=”par-7_37″>But while their mother and father are in royal exile, Beatrice and Eugenie are not, and the Princess of Wales (<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/dont-be-fooled-this-is-what-kate-middleton-was-really-like-in-school.html/”>formerly known as Kate Middleton</a>) just proved that by extending an olive branch to her cousins-in-law. </p>
<p id=”par-8_35″>It’s been reported that Kate sent “personal invitations” to the sisters for this year’s Christmas carol service to help them feel connected and “united” with the rest of the royals amid their parents’ drama. </p>
<p id=”par-9_59″>Royal commentator Neil Sean told <a href=”https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/kate-middleton-extends-olive-branch-andrews-daughters-amid-jeffrey-epstein-disaster-expert” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Fox News</a>: “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office. This is Catherine’s project, and she has the final say — very similar to the way Prince William operates Earthshot. Above all, yes, the royal family wants to be seen as united amid what has been a very difficult year.”</p>
<p id=”par-10_45″>The Together At Christmas carol service is an annual event hosted by the Princess of Wales that takes place at Westminster Abbey. This year it will be held on Dec. 5. There’s no word yet on whether Beatrice and Eugenie will be in attendance. </p>
