Sony has revealed its Black Friday deals across PS5 consoles, accessories, and games, along with a huge reduction on PSVR2.

While Black Friday is technically on November 29, many retailers were already slashing prices across video game consoles and games right from the start of the month.

Nintendo and Microsoft have reduced the price of Switch and Xbox consoles, respectively, and now Sony has followed suit with big discounts on PlayStation 5 consoles, accessories, and games.

On the PlayStation Direct store, the PlayStation 5 Slim model has been reduced by £65 to £414.99, while the digital edition (without a disc drive) has received the same discount and is currently available for £324.99 instead of £389.99.

For the same price across both models, you can pick up the Fortnite Cobalt Star bundle, which includes various Fortnite cosmetics and 1,000 V-Bucks of in-game currency (the equivalent of £6.99), so this is perhaps the best option whether you’re an avid Fortnite player or not.

If you want two DualSense controllers instead of one, there’s bundles priced at £464.99 (PS5 Slim) and £374.99 (PS5 Digital) depending on the console you’re after. This deal, however, isn’t available on the Fortnite Cobalt Star bundle.

While other retailers like Amazon and Argos are selling the PlayStation 5 at a slightly cheaper price, Sony is offering some of the best discounts on PlayStation VR2 headsets.

Through PlayStation Direct, you can pick up the PSVR2 bundle with Horizon Call Of The Mountain for £349.99, which is a massive £220 reduction on the original price.

Along with discounts on the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller and other accessories, games like Astro Bot, Stellar Blade, and the excellent Returnal have all been reduced too.

To top it all off, if you join PlayStation Plus before Cyber Monday on December 2, there’s a bunch of savings across all tiers.

PS Plus Essential subscriptions for 12 months are down to £47.99, from £59.99, while there’s 25% off PS Plus Extra and 30% off PS Plus Premium. These deals also apply if you’re already subscribed and want to upgrade to the Extra or Premium tiers for access to more games.

You have some time to take advantage of all of these deals. The PlayStation 5 will be discounted until December 12, while the PlayStation VR2 offers will end on January 2, 2025, although these dates might be dependent on stock.

According to Sony, the sale on games will end December 19, 2024.
