PS5 Pro is over £100 off in cheapest ever Black Friday 2025 discount

If you’ve ever wanted a PS5 Pro, now is the time (Sony)

A new pair of PS5 Pro discounts have been discovered for Black Friday and they’re the best deals on the console so far.

Sony is offering some very generous price cuts on its PlayStation 5 consoles for Black Friday, which is going to make it an even more popular pick for Christmas gifts than it already is.

While Sony has applied discounts to every model of the PlayStation 5, the PS5 Pro – the most powerful, and therefore most expensive, iteration – remains something of a hard sell.

Its superior graphics and performance come at a price, but we’ve come across a brand new discount that’s a lot more enticing than Sony’s own Black Friday and sees the PS5 Pro’s price drop by £110.

What’s the cheapest PS5 Pro price for Black Friday 2025?

Normally, the PS5 Pro costs a whopping £699.99, but Amazon is currently selling it at a 16% discount for £589.99.

Amazon is also selling a console bundle that includes a copy of EA Sports FC 26 with the PS5 Pro and, surprisingly, this one’s even cheaper at £569.99.

Aside from providing enhanced visuals for thousands of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games, and being capable of supporting frame rates upwards of 120 frames per second with 4K output, the PS5 Pro comes with 2TB of storage space.

The one caveat is that it lacks a disc drive, so it only runs digital games. If that’s too much of a deal breaker, you can buy a disc drive accessory to connect to the console, but it’s not part of the Black Friday discounts and so still costs £69.99.

This is probably the cheapest the console will ever be for the foreseeable future and is certainly a better option than buying a PS5 Pro directly through Sony, where it currently costs £609.99.

If these offers are at all enticing, you’ll want to act fast as Amazon is sure to run out of stock and even if it doesn’t, the offers are only set to last until next Monday on December 1.

If you miss out on these, Sony’s offers on the PlayStation Direct website are still set to last until December 18, where it is also running discounts on accessories and select games.

It doesn’t have any alternative PS5 Pro bundles, but it is offering bundles on the regular PlayStation 5 models that come with Sony’s newest exclusive, Ghost Of Yōtei as well as two Fortnite related bundles that throw in some in-game items and virtual currency.

PS5 vs. PS5 Pro – what’s the difference?

Although the PS5 Pro plays the same games as the regular PlayStation 5 it is significantly more powerful than the standard models.

Exactly how that power is used depends on the game but generally it can allow for faster frame rates, higher resolution, and advanced ray-tracing. In most cases that means 60fps and 4K resolution.

There are no PS5 Pro exclusive games, although select games can take advantage of a Game Boost feature that provides a specifically tailired upgrade to their graphics and performance.

Unlike last generation there is no equivalent to the Pro from Xbox, which means it’s the most powerful console available today, ahead of the Xbox Series X. The latter is cheaper, though, even when the PS5 Pro’s on sale, although another price increase is rumoured.
