The December 27th memorial had a star-studded guest list, including film producer Noel Ashman, who took to Instagram to share touching photos of a display from the event.
“Sad day at the funeral of my old friend,” Ashman wrote in the post’s caption. “I hope [you] know how much [you] were loved by me & by all your family & friends.” In addition to being friends, Ashman and Greene collaborated professionally over the years.

As an insider told Page Six, Greene’s memorial featured around 40 attendees, who were close to the actor. “Everyone shared a story, and everyone broke down crying,” the insider explained. “People loved him like a brother.” Some of his friends delivered heartfelt speeches, including actor Federico Castelluccio. He reportedly called Greene “one of the best character actors of his generation” while speaking to the crowd.
In addition to the outpouring of love he received at his memorial, Greene received dozens of social media tributes from colleagues and friends alike. “I never forgot his name,” one fan wrote on X. “He played some of my favorite villains.” Many fans remember the actor from his beloved roles in “Pulp Fiction” and “The Mask.”
