Pussycat Dolls have pulled the majority of their planned North American reunion tour dates, confirming a major change to their long-awaited comeback.

The group — performing as a trio including Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt — had been set to kick off a 33-date run across the US and Canada this summer.

However, in a statement shared with fans, they confirmed that all but one of those shows have now been cancelled.

‘After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates,’ they said.

The only remaining performance will be at Outloud Music Festival during WeHo Pride in Los Angeles on June 6, which the group described as a ‘meaningful’ place to still connect with fans.

While the band did not publicly detail the reasons behind the decision, reports suggest ticket demand for the North American leg had been significantly lower than expected, with large numbers of seats remaining unsold in several cities.

The setback comes as rehearsals for the tour had already been delayed, with preparations not fully underway before the shows were scrapped.

Despite the cancellation, the Dolls confirmed that their UK and European dates will go ahead as planned — and appear to be faring far better.

‘The response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out,’ they said, adding that they are focused on delivering a ‘true celebration’ of their music and legacy for fans overseas.

The European leg is due to begin in Copenhagen in September, with arena dates scheduled across major cities including Birmingham, Manchester, London, Dublin, and Glasgow.

The latest development marks another complicated chapter in the group’s reunion efforts.

The Pussycat Dolls originally announced a comeback in 2019 as a five-piece, including former members Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta, but those plans were repeatedly delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic before ultimately collapsing.

The cancellation was later linked to a dispute between Scherzinger and the group’s founder, Robin Antin, which was resolved through a confidential settlement in 2025.

The trio relaunched their return earlier this year with new single Club Song, signalling a fresh start, but more controversy soon followed.

It was soon revealed that it wouldn’t be all six bandmates back together again, as Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton are not included in the reunion tour.

A source revealed to The Sun that the trio of Dolls feel Carmit and Jessica are no longer aligned with their world, and they want the tour to remain drama-free.

‘They felt like moving forward as a trio was the best way of making sure the tour goes smoothly,’ they said.

‘They are all on the same page about the reunion and feel like Jessica and Carmit are in a different world from them these days.’

The source continued, claiming Carmit and Jessica had ‘no desire to reunite’ with the band, so the trio is surprised by their reactions.

‘It feels like they’re doing anything for attention,’ the source said.

After the announcement, Bachar made it clear she’s not happy about the news, reposting a video of the group’s former producer, Eddie Serrano, in which he slams the group.

‘I’m here to talk about one thing… I have been very close friends to a lot of Pussycat Dolls, Carmit you know you’re my sister,’ he began.

‘I’m very upset about this Pussycat Doll reunion… I do have a problem when I see my home girls, who were very instrumental in building the brand, not a part of this reunion.

‘We need to see them as a unit, not just as three girls that’s not the Pussycat Dolls, that’s just the Pussy without the Dolls.’

Alongside the reposts, Carmit simply captioned: ‘Luv you.’

Jessica told fans she had no involvement in the comeback and claimed she discovered the plans alongside everyone else.

‘They have been planning it for a year and blatantly didn’t ask Carmit and I,’ she wrote in response to a fan question on Instagram.

Originally formed in the early 2000s, the group scored a string of chart hits including Don’t Cha and Stickwitu, cementing their place as one of the most successful girl groups of their era.
