As fans mourn the loss of acclaimed Hollywood actor and filmmaker, Rob Reiner, along with his wife Michele Singer Reiner, touching moments with his family are making their rounds on social media.
In an October 2024 Instagram reel that has since resurfaced, Romy Reiner is seen giving her father a haircut while asking him for a hilarious request.
“I wanted to ask you something because my career hasn’t even remotely taken off, as you know, right? And um, I don’t know, I was just thinking about it. I was wondering, I think the thing that could actually make me more unique and marketable is if I got a BBL,” Romy told her dad.
She asked, “Would you be interested and okay with paying for that?” When Rob asked what a BBL was, she answered, “It’s a Brazilian butt lift.”
“I feel that people would take me a lot more seriously if I had that,” Romy said with a deadpan face. Her father answered, “Really? You think that would make people take you more seriously, or they’ll just say, ‘Boy, your ass is big.’”
Romy replied, “I think both … it’s kind of expensive and I don’t think insurance covers it because it’s not a medical issue.” Rob told her, “I would say don’t do it, but you know, my feeling is, it’s your ass.”
Fans loved the cute exchange, with one writing after Rob’s death, “Aww you two were adorable together. Cherish these memories.”
Another wrote, “There are no words that I can say during this difficult time. Sending prayers of comfort. With loving thoughts.”
Rob & Romy Shared Lots of Touching Conversations Together
Rob starred in and wrote many hilarious films, so it’s not a surprise that Romy inherited his famous humor.
In an Instagram reel shared in May, the two discussed three pieces of advice about getting older that a Secret Service agent shared with Rob.
“Number one, never pass up a bathroom. This is for men. Number two, don’t waste a hard-on, and three, never trust a fart,” the “All in the Family” star said.
Rob told his daughter that he thought that was such good advice that he had Jack Nicholson’s character recite it on “The Bucket List.”
Romy replied by saying that she only wanted to learn more about the first and last advice, with Rob saying, “I don’t think you want to hear about that … How much do you need to know about your father’s prostate?”
“No, we’re done,” Romy firmly said.
Romy Was Able to Share One Last Family Vacation with Rob
Just two weeks before her father’s untimely death, Romy shared a beautiful holiday with Rob in a gorgeous beach setting.
Romy shared a carousel of pictures and videos in November of her in the water with Rob, with the two looking smiling while swimming together.
“This is beautiful. Father and daughter equals strong foundation,” a fan commented. Another replied, “Soo happy to see you had such beautiful moments with your parents so recently like this! Forever treasured for you.”
