Tony Goldwyn, also known as “President Fitz” after his iconic role on ABC’s political thriller “Scandal,” ignited the small screen for seven seasons and won everyone’s hearts. Goldwyn’s character, President Fitzgerald Grant, was wrapped up in a forbidden romance with high-powered D.C. fixer Olivia Pope, who was inspired by Judy Smith and brought to life by “Django” actress Kerry Washington.
Goldwyn and Washington’s electrifying dynamic had such an impact that they actually accomplished the near-impossible feat of getting television viewers to root for an affair. Fans simply couldn’t deny the once-in-a-lifetime chemistry between the two characters.
But who is Tony Goldwyn’s partner in real-life? The 65-year-old actor has been married to his wife, set designer Jane Musky, for multiple decades, and on December 2, he posted a rare photo of the two of them together before announcing he’d be interviewing her on his podcast.

This year Tony Goldwyn started a podcast called “Far From the Tree” with his eldest daughter, Anna Musky-Goldwyn. The show, which explores parent-child dynamics in the entertainment industry, kicked off with superstar Jane Fonda as the first guest. Another A-lister to be featured was Kate Hudson, daughter of Goldie Hawn. On December 2, Goldwyn announced his wife, Jane Musky, was the latest guest.
Jane Musky’s appearance on the podcast is big news because she leads an ultra-private life and cultivates an alluring mystique by generally staying out of the spotlight. She does not appear to have an public social media accounts, and photographs of the New Jersey native are hard to come by. She was never seen on a red carpet or at an awards ceremony beside Goldwyn during the height of his “Scandal” fame. Instead, the “Tarzan” star was usually accompanied by his podcast co-host, Anna, or less often by his and Musky’s other daughter, Tess.

Tony Goldwyn’s Wife Talked About Their Dynamic On Podcast
Jane Musky’s “Far From the Tree” podcast appearance was her first known interview since she spoke about being the production on the 2009 Biggie Smalls biopic “Notorious.”
During the podcast, Goldwyn joked that sometimes his wife has to shut him down and say, “Tony, just let me talk.”
Anna, a television writer, said she takes inspiration from her mom when it comes to dealing with unfairness in the workplace. She said, “For me, I do allow myself to get worked up. Which I know drives Mom insane. I think that I think of her sometimes in that sense of, ‘Okay, how can I not let myself get swept up in how I feel about this and more allow myself to focus on how can I redirect the situation so that it’s more productive or kind of at a better pace.’”
