Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was rushed to hospital earlier this week after being injured in a brawl with a fellow inmate.

He is currently serving a 50-month sentence after a lengthy trial last year saw him convicted of transportation for prostitution.

The 56-year-old former music mogul was taken to hospital from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey at 1am on Saturday, according to TMZ.

He was said to be conscious throughout the treatment.

The disgraced mogul is reported to have suffered a ‘severe’ head injury after reportedly coming to blows with a Jamaican drug lord known as Dudus.

The reported altercation occurred Friday night after Dudus, whose real name is Christopher Coke, confronted Combs about getting their fellow inmates in trouble, according to TMZ.

In July, he reportedly got into a fight with another inmate after being ‘dissed’ by the other prisoner, landing himself in solitary confinement.

He is due to be released in May 2028, but this has since been moved forward to January 21, 2028.

Sources have claimed that Combs is living in luxury despite being behind bars, with access to a phone, alcohol, and a tablet on which he watches movies.

He spent 13 months in prison during his trial, which will count towards his overall sentence, meaning he will serve three more years behind bars.

Combs has also been hit with a $500,000 (£371k) fine.

The rapper was accused of running a sex trafficking operation and was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution of his former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, and another woman, known as Jane, who had testified in the trial.

Combs denied all allegations against him.

In July, he was found not guilty of the most serious charge of racketeering conspiracy, as well as two charges of sex trafficking in relation to Ventura and Jane.
