A second star has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice 2024.

Following Ricky Hatton’s exit with partner Robin Johnstone last week, Hannah Spearritt was voted out of the ITV competition.

Unlike last week, there was no skate off at the end of the performances, leaving the power in the hands of viewers, rather than judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse.

Sadly, Hannah’s time in the competition was over.

‘It was nice to finish on Elsa,’ she said, adding: ‘it’s been an absolute joy’.

The S Club singer, 42, had revealed she’d been battling a health condition just days before the launch of the 2024 series.

Hannah, who pulled out of the reunion tour with bandmates Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Rachel Stevens after the death of Paul Cattermole aged 46, shared the news on Loose Women.

With their history, it was suspected Hannah left the band due to grief, but in December she opened up about an autoimmune health battle she’s been dealing with for the past few years, rendering her unable to even cook at one point.

Earlier this evening, there was more drama when host Holly Willoughby appeared to swear on-air, after a prank from Stephen Mulhern went rather wrong.

The 42-year-old, after being heard saying ‘f**k off’ by viewers, later apologised, saying: ‘Now, a little bit earlier on, Stephen may have made me jump, and I think it may have sounded like a naughty word slipped out.

‘I don’t think I did! But I’m sorry if that’s what you thought you might have heard, but I don’t think I did.

‘I’ll watch it back on ITV player, because that’s where you can watch these things back. But I’m sorry!’

Stephen joked back: ‘I get the blame for everything at the moment, I’m new!’

The series has returned with Holly as host, after speculation over whether she would return following her exit from This Morning last year.

Stephen, 46, has taken over as co-host, replacing Phillip Schofield, who resigned from ITV in full after admitting his ‘unwise but not illegal affair’.

The series so far has seen plenty of drama, with two stars forced to drop out over injuries.

Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb broke his ankle during training, and was later replaced by Olympics legend Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.

It was later revealed Eddie’s pro partner Tippy Packard had to quit the show after sustaining an injury.

Now, only 10 celebrities remain in the competition, including Ryan Thomas, Adele Roberts and Ricky Norwood.

Dancing On Ice airs Saturdays at 6.20pm on ITV1.
