Tom Hanks’ son, Chet Hanks, recently found himself in a bit of a snafu when he was unable to leave Colombia and return to the United States due to an unexpected passport issue. Now that he’s managed to get himself back home, he’s revealed his surprising new living situation.
Chet Hanks Is Living in a Snazzy New Trailer
Chet took to Instagram on Saturday, March 28, to update his followers on his new purchase by posting a video of what he’s been up to. Seemingly at a dealership, Chet can be seen signing papers before getting behind the wheel of his truck to start pulling a trailer he’s just bought.
A 27-foot rolling abode, Chet admits that he’s never towed anything before, let alone such a massive load. He admits, “I’m a little nervous.”
However, he seems to do well when he starts driving and eventually backs into his spot at a trailer park, which he calls “home sweet home.”
Chet also gives a quick tour of his stylish new residence, which includes a spacious bed, a small couch across from a TV, a dining table with seating, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a shower, not to mention a nice little patio right outside the door.
On Wednesday, April 1, he took to Instagram again to show off his new home, and wrote, “A pirates life for me ð´ââ ï¸ð´ââ ï¸ð´ââ ︔
