‘Seinfeld’ Icons Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Larry David Share Rare Reunion

Jerry Seinfeld

Three of Seinfeld’s most beloved figures surprised fans with a rare holiday reunion this Christmas Eve, sharing smiling photos that delighted lovers of the iconic sitcom and sparked renewed nostalgia for television’s “show about nothing.”

On Dec. 24, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and co-creator Larry David were photographed together, looking relaxed and cheerful as they enjoyed the holiday season.

The casual get-together was shared by Seinfeld on his Instagram account, where he posted snapshots of himself with Louis-Dreyfus — famed for her role as Elaine Benes — and David, the creative force behind the show’s sharp humor and unconventional storytelling.

The caption referenced the holiday spirit with a playful nod to “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” reading: “‘The creatures were stirring…’ Christmas Eve 2025.”

Fans Couldn’t Get Enough

Fans immediately reacted to the reunion photos with enthusiasm.

Many took to social media to praise the trio, sharing memories of the groundbreaking series — which originally aired from 1989 to 1998 — and affectionately recalling favorite episodes, lines and characters.

Comments included festive references to the show’s Festivus holiday and shout-outs to Elaine’s signature comedic energy, underscoring the deep connection audiences still feel decades after the series finale.

“Somehow comforted by this picture,” one fan wrote.

Although all three stars have pursued separate, highly successful careers since “Seinfeld” ended, the reunion offered a rare public glimpse of their enduring friendship.

Louis-Dreyfus has become a celebrated Emmy-winning actress for roles in shows such as “Veep,” while Seinfeld has continued stand-up and digital projects like “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

David, meanwhile, remains busy as the creator and star of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” a long-running comedy that often channels the same off-beat humor audiences loved on Seinfeld.

The holiday reunion comes amid a time of reflection for the trio.

Earlier this month, David and his longtime friend and producer Rob Reiner — who helped shepherd “Seinfeld” through its early years via Castle Rock Entertainment — experienced a tragic loss with the untimely deaths of Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner.

The group had previously honored the Reiners with public tributes, underscoring the deep personal and professional bonds within this circle of comedy greats.

Fans Still Have Hope for a Reunion

Despite fan excitement, Seinfeld has historically been cautious about discussing a formal “Seinfeld” reboot or continuation.

In the past, he made it clear that there were no official plans for a series revival, even as speculation swirled among devotees eager for new content related to the franchise.

Many users couldn’t contain their excitement about the trio being together.

“Please do a reunion season,” one fan wrote. “Or a movie or something.”

Still, this spontaneous Christmas Eve photo served as something of a gift to fans — a heartwarming reminder that the humor, friendship and creative collaboration at the heart of “Seinfeld” continue to live on offscreen.

For many followers who grew up laughing with Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer, seeing Seinfeld, Louis-Dreyfus and David together again was a joyful holiday moment — one grounded not in scripted comedy, but in genuine connection and shared history.
