*WARNING: Spoilers for Selling The OC season two below*
There was a lot of change in the office following the first series, as Tyler Stanaland announced his divorce from ex-wife Brittany Snow shortly after the episodes aired.
Despite insisting that he was just good friends with colleague Alex Hall, the pair continued to flirt their way through the new season, raising eyebrows with their co-stars.
In the finale, they finally gave into temptation and shared a very passionate kiss, taking their bond to the next level.
Speaking in a new interview, the pair have lifted the lid on where they stand now that the cameras have stopped rolling, and whether we’ll get answers in future instalments.

‘I think we’re still navigating our friendship. Obviously, you see in season 2 [that] we explore some things. It leads to a steamy moment and I think we’re still trying to figure it out, but we remain really close friends and I don’t have an answer [on where we stand] for you at the moment,’ Tyler told Us Weekly.
Alex revealed that cameras were on hand to capture the fallout from the kiss, with the footage set to appear in the third season.
Discussing their decision to act on their feelings, she continued: ‘You see throughout season two the dynamic of our friendship, and it’s easy and it’s comfortable because there it is, just that. It’s a friendship.
‘There’s no strings attached and I think adding that other element is scary. … Some things are awkward. And you can’t avoid it. So we’re just navigating.’

Tyler added: ‘It’s both a blessing and a curse to explore a relationship that starts out as a friendship.
‘There’s a lot of things that come with it and there’s a lot more at stake as well.’
Their close friendship had everyone talking when Selling the OC debuted on the streaming platform last year, with the suggestion that Alex was ‘too affectionate’ with Tyler in front of the cameras – most notably when she gave him a ‘nosey’ during a cast outing.
Weeks after the premiere, Tyler and Brittany, who he married in 2020, announced their decision to end their relationship.

‘After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate,’ the pro surfer shared on Instagram. ‘This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another.
‘We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.
‘We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie.
‘We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.’
Selling the OC is available to stream on Netflix now.
