Kim Cattrall is married! The “Sex and the City” alum tied the knot with her longtime partner, audio engineer Russell Thomas, on Thursday, December 4, during an “intimate, elegant” wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, according to People.
In a ceremony that was witnessed by just 12 guests, “[t]he quiet nuptials, an understated celebration focused on family, close friends, and the enduring partnership they have built, reflect the newlyweds’ preference for intimacy and authenticity.”
As for the style details, “Cattrall wore a refined Dior suit for the occasion, styled by her longtime creative collaborator Patricia Field, which she paired with Cornelia James gloves and a bespoke hat designed by milliner Philip Treacy.”
Beyond that, “Thomas chose a custom suit by Richard James, demonstrating the coupleâs shared appreciation for craftsmanship and understated sophistication.”

When it comes to how Cattrall and her husband, Russell, first connected, it had to do with a chance encouter as well as social media.
âRussell … and I met at the BBC, he was working at the BBC and we liked each other,” she told Glamour UK back in April 2018. After that, she explained, “He followed me and I followed him on Twitter, he direct messaged me.”
She noted, “It was very, very modern itâs just been very easy.â
When the star was asked if she was in love at the time, she responded by saying, âYeah, itâs real good, itâs real good. Heâs a great guy.â
Fortunately, Cattrall now has time for marriage. When Glamour UK asked “whether her work and ambition had impacted on her private life,” she admitted, âHugely. I look back and I think, you know, at the time, there would also be enough time to spend, especially in my relationships, with my partner and there never was, and I never made it a priority. I put work before them.â
