Sharon Osbourne has shared how a surprise message from US President Donald Trump left her in tears after husband Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

In the months since the music legend’s death, Sharon, 73, has confessed she is ‘not ok’ but has been supported by millions of fans around the world.

Osbourne died at the age of 76 on July 22, just weeks after he took to the stage for one final show with Black Sabbath in hometown of Birmingham.

For the first time in over a year, Sharon and her children — Jack and Kelly — sat down together to record their podcast The Osbournes.

While Kelly shared she struggles in the mornings as she ‘briefly forgets’ that her father is gone, Sharon revealed she had wept over a voice note from Trump paying tribute to her late husband.

Playing the tribute out loud on the podcast, Trump said: “Hi, Sharon – it’s Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family.

He continued: ‘Ozzy was amazing – he was an amazing guy. I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented.

‘So I just wanted to wish you the best and it’s a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do – take care of yourself, say hello to the family – thanks, bye.’

The Osbournes had met Trump, 79, a few times over the years but Sharon didn’t shy away from addressing the politics.

‘Listen, when it comes to politics, we know nobody comes out a winner,’ sne said. ‘Whoever you like, there’s, half of people are gonna’ be in conflict.

‘And now it’s more so than ever in history, is it that people’s choice of which party, which politician – you can’t come out a winner.’

Sharon had worked with Trump ‘for a month’ on Celebrity Apprentice in 2010 and said he and his wife were always respectful.

She praised Melania, 55, ‘who was always gracious, elegant, just a delight to talk to.’

‘The thing is all I know is he has treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us – nothing. Melania, the same, nothing.’

Jack, who will appear on this year’s I’m A Celeb, added: ‘Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.’
