Sharon Osbourne is reportedly contemplating a big life change following husband Ozzy’s death.
The Black Sabbath rocker died of a heart attack last July at the age of 76 following well-documented health struggles relating to mobility, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease.
He had been married to Sharon, 73, since 1982, during which time they welcomed three children together and became one of showbiz’s most beloved couples.
After decades living the Hollywood life, Sharon and Ozzy returned to the UK around 15 months ago, with the Crazy Train hitmaker, who grew up in Birmingham, insisting he wanted to spend his final years back home.
The spouses also filmed a BBC documentary about their move. Titled Coming Home and released posthumously, it saw Ozzy declare that he ‘didn’t want to be buried in America’ as he and Sharon relocated to Hertfordshire.
After dying just weeks on from his final concert, the music legend was buried in the private grounds of Welders House, which he and Sharon bought in 1993 before moving to Los Angeles.
Now, Sharon has decided where she’s going to live, having remained in the UK but flown to LA to spend Christmas with children Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 40, who live there.
According to The Sun, Mrs O had previously vowed to remain full-time at the £10million Buckinghamshire estate, where her late husband lies just yards from the back door.
However, with her kids and grandkids now back across the pond, she’s going to split her time.
It’s reported that the former X Factor judge has purchased a new apartment in LA, where she will spend ‘half the year at least’.
A close family friend reckons the move could become more permanent eventually, as they expect she will ‘probably just spend most of her time in the US again within a couple of years.’
The publication adds that an emotional first Christmas without Ozzy changed Sharon’s mind about never living in the States again.
Amid the festivities with dad-of-four Jack’s kids and Kelly’s son Sidney, born in 2022, Sharon is said to have realised how isolated she is in England.
As a result, she’s determined not to miss out on key family milestones.
It comes as Jack, who has daughters Pearl, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora, and Maple Artemis, is currently expecting another baby with wife Aree Gearhart.
A family source said: ‘Kelly and Jack were both worried about their mum because they know how traumatic the loss of Ozzy has been to her, and also being separated from her grandchildren has been tough.
‘So they have held many conversations about what to do, and Sharon has decided that returning to Los Angeles for 50% of the time is the right move.
‘It allows her a change of scenery and the chance to celebrate with the grandkids.’

Sharon has largely remained away from the spotlight over the past year but began making public appearances again this year, including at the Grammys.
She attended the annual music awards with Aimee, Kelly, and Jack and walked the red carpet with Yungblud, who shouted out his ‘idol’ upon winning.
The show also included an electrifying tribute to Ozzy, performed by Post Malone, War Pigs with Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, Slash, and Andrew Watt. Cameras cut to the Osbournes in the audience, all of whom became tearful as they watched.
In December, Sharon gave her first interview as a widow, telling Piers Morgan on Uncensored that Ozzy ‘knew’ his time was coming.
She recalled: ‘He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like, 4:30, and he said, “Wake up”. I said, “I’m already bloody awake; you’ve woken me up.” And he said, “Kiss me.” And then he said, “Hug me tight.”
‘I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter. And he went downstairs, worked out for 20 minutes and passed away.’
The TV icon further revealed that Ozzy would speak often about ‘when [he] goes’, asking her: ‘Do you think you’ll get [re]married?’
Of her blunt response, she said: ‘I’m like, “F**k off. Are you joking? P*ss off.”‘
As Piers probed, Sharon stated that she ‘never, ever, ever imagine’ marrying someone else now.
