Stacey Solomon received a big surprise in the post, opening a mystery parcel to reveal jars of Sir David Beckham’s ‘sticky stuff’.
The TV personality, 36, was in fits as she opened the parcel after sending the football legend, 50, a message about his hobby, beekeeping.
She confessed to sending him a ‘cringe’ voice note over Instagram when she was considering purchasing a beehive, but never expected Sir David to actually respond.
‘I’ve been sent a parcel from… the Beckhams,’ Stacey revealed on her Instagram story. ‘How sweet that he actually replied to an Instagram!’
Unwrapping the sleek blue box — complete with tartan bow — in the video with her sister, Jemma, the pair couldn’t contain their excitement.
Stacey revealed a handwritten note, which read: ‘To Stacey and Joe, I hope you enjoy the honey and snacks. Lots of love, David Beckham.’
‘I’ve got David Beckham’s autograph!’ she laughed. ‘What a time to be alive!’
The box was packed to the brim with snacks, including two playfully labelled jars which had Stacey declaring the duo were ‘hilarious’.
She continued: ‘There’s two jars of honey, DB’s Sticky Stuff and Sticky Vicky. I bet they are hilarious in real life, we need to go on a night out with David and Victoria.
‘They’re obviously funny. This is the best thing ever! Thanks David we love you.’
Joe Swash, Stacey’s husband, had previously joked he didn’t need Sir David as ‘competition’ when the pair discussed her voicenote to him.
‘I’ve got dogs, ducks, the last thing I need is David Beckham,’ he said before the generous package arrived.
Sir David has recently launched BEEUP in the US, a honey-based snack for kids, after installing beehives in his Cotswolds home in 2020.
Fans can regularly see the former England Captain tending to his bees on his Instagram story as a tiny insight into the life of a man worth an estimated £372million net worth.
In June he wrote: ‘I’m so excited that @beeupsnacks is finally here 🐝 A real passion project for me and something I’ve been working on behind the scenes for a while.
‘Since building my first hive in 2020 I’ve fallen in love with beekeeping and I’ve learnt so much about the health benefits of honey. As a dad and as a former athlete, I wanted to create something for kids to enjoy as part of an active lifestyle so we created BEEUP… delicious, honey-based snacks 🍯.’
