Stephen Baldwin Posts Video With Alec Baldwin Hours Before Crashing Into a Tree

On Monday, October 13, Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin were involved in a car crash. Alec’s white Range Rover crashed head-on into a tree while in The Hamptoms, Page Six reports. 

Although the car was damaged, Alec and Stephen were able to walk away from the scene. Alec has since updated fans on his health, as has his wife, Hilaria Baldwin. Stephen has also been active on social media, sharing videos on his Instagram Stories that have nothing to do with the accident. He also posted a video clip on Instagram on October 13, just hours before the crash happened.

In the clip, Stephen shows that he was with Alec. The two brothers are sitting at a table after attending the Hamptons International Film Festival, which ran from October 3 to October 13. Text overlay on the video reads, “Salute to the festival,” and Stephen and Alec clink glasses. Stephen appears to be drinking soda, while his older brother is drinking water. There is also a clip of Alec addressing a crowd. 

Stephen’s caption is filled with hashtags about the festival. Fans have reacted to the post with comments about how nice it is to see the brothers together, before they crashed into a tree. “Nice to see brother together and relaxing this is weekend fall time,” a comment reads. “The two of you are great together,” another person shared. 

“Heard about car crash and I hope both of ye ok,” a third comment reads. Other fans also expressed their concern and let Stephen know they are praying for them. Reactions include, “I hope you are okay, I just saw you and Alec were in a car accident in the Hamptons! Praying for you!!!!” and “Praying that you’re both safe and doing well.”

Hilaria reacted to the post with two red heart emojis.

Fans were relieved to hear Alec’s update about the crash, which he posted on Instagram on Monday, October 13. He updated fans, informing them he was driving his wife’s car and had crashed because he was cut off by a garbage truck. In the caption, he wrote, “Thank you for your concern….” 

Fans reacted to the post with an outpouring of love and relief. 

“He has been out there all week, he attended films and moderated panels,” a source told Page Six of why Alec had been in The Hamptons. He also attended the Buffalo Film Festival in Buffalo, New York, on Saturday.
